Does not make him talented. Let him do above as a backup forward off the bench.

Woops missed with my uppercut and just got you instead. Give me some conclusive proof that Bird is talented. I've yet to see it. He is competent at best but not in our backline.. my pet turtle is quicker than him.
Mate wake up ya Muppet he had a shit go with injuries for years tell me one player who plays harder than him he fights for every inch he doesn't like getting tackled. Is winning a premiership conclusive enough every club needs a player like bird.
GO PLAY WITH YA TURTLE

Two weeks away from the forum and I see nothing has changed.

More gossip post and speculation than football talk.
f**k all about the good players we have and the young guys coming through.

The is why I now avoid the forum and will continue to do so.

Lomax is going nowhere, not next month or next year or 2025 or ever. 100% Guaranteed.

Cheers to all.

Teams going woefully on the whole. Few shining lights - Sloan, Amone, Feagai, sully. Forum is on life support but can't blame the fans for speculating at this point to keep them entertained and fill the void of the success and relevance that Dragons used to have a lot of this time of year.

3 straight horrible seasons at the end of the day. Deserves to be discussed, needs to be criticised.

Good to know Zac is sticking around. That would be the final dagger.

Agree.
Maybe if the team.and club gave a hoot about the shit fans have put up with and poor season flops year after year.
There would be more positive posts.

If I wanted positives for the sake of positives I'd go to dragons website or Facebook page. A place full of clichés and dollar incentivised agendas.

Is it really a surprise that some fans who are fed up of their team falling over might be having a bit to say?

When I visit this forum I always check for recruitment/rumours first because, shame on me, I'm desperate for our club to make a game changing move and it ain't happening with Norman picked every week. I can't be the only one that does this.

Would Suli come as a centre, winger, or possibly move into the 2nd row?
In 2022 I imagine with the current squad and new signings we would have a 17 close to this:

1. Mbye
2. Ramsey
3. Suli
4. Lomax
5. Matt Feagai
6. Bird
7. Sullivan
8. Molo
9. Hunt
10. Burgess
11. Sims
12. Su'A
13. De Belin

14 Amone - utility
15. Lawrie - prop
16. McGuire - prop
17. Fui - back row

Where is Sloan?
Amone is our future 6.. we will lose him if utility by June 30

1.Sloan 2. Ramsey 3. Suli 4. Lomax 5. Rava 6. Amone 7. Sullivan 8. Burgess 9. Hunt 10. Maguire 11.Sims 12. Bird 13. Debelin 14. Mbye 15. Molo 16. Lawrie 17. Su'a .. would like too see this lineup in the charity shield, we would still have McCullough, The Feagais, Burns, Famassuli, Alvaro, Fuimaono, Ford, J Hunt.. Plenty of depth in the team next year and I think Suli would be a great signing, we are going to be alot stronger next year that's one thing we can all agree on.

So why has the club signed Mbye, Su'A, Burgess, Molo, and Suli for 2022? It must be that the club has plans to play in first grade because our youngsters aren't quite ready as yet. So,

1. Mbye
2. Ramsey / Matt Feagai
3. Suli / Max Feagai
4. Lomax
5. Ravalawa
6. Bird / Amone
7. Sullivan
8. Molo
9. Hunt
10. Burgess
11. Sims
12. Su'A
13. De Belin

14. McCullough
15. Lawrie
16. McGuire
17. Fue

I believe at this stage in our recruitment/retention cycle, this is our best 17. Obviously, Sloan, Amone, and the Feagai Brothers will be knocking on the door in season 2022 along with some other bright talent we have coming through.

Sloan
Mat F
Suli 🤞
Zac
Rava
Amone
Bud

Molo
Hunt
?
Su’a
Bird ??
Jdb

Burgess
Mbye - not convinced
Fui - trys hard but I’m not convinced by him either.

Max F and Cody as back up for the backs.

The rest of the current forwards, probably need to be shown the door.

Sims is past it
Burns isn’t up to it
Alvaro no
McGuire maybe
Lawrie just isn’t fit enough or fast enough, he try’s but is limited.
Andrew Mc - no
Ford too many errors
Kerr like Ford.
Fama - who knows, we haven’t seen enough of him

I think if Hunt gets injured in 22 we are gone.
We haven't got the resolve or the smarts to succeed without him.

Put a blue jumper on Sims and watch him go....just like many taking the club for a ride

Agree NK- Sims is coasting towards retirement- he briefly went berserk a couple of months ago with charge downs and scored at least one try that way but that seems to have drained his batteries and he's been a shadow of that supercharged self (apart from another standout in Origin) since that time. I'd have a real problem picking him in our best 17 atm.

He'd have an inflated price tag on him given his exceptional origin series. We could free up some more cap and get a younger more consistent player. Sooner the better though I feel it's unlikely. Sorry, but giving him the captaincy was as stupid as giving Norman a run every game. His battery has run out halfway through the last 3 seasons. Hard calls need to be made. Can hook be the man?

Simms very ordinary lately and what does Jackson Ford offer .?
JF doesn’t offer a lot unfortunately. He was a gun in the lower grades - big things predicted, but so far it hasn't happened. He hasn't got big enough or aggressive enough or with a big enough motor to play long minutes at the top of his game. So where does that leave him? Better options are available I think (or is that I hope?)

Agree. Ford is a solid reserve grader and that’s about it. Not in my top 21 and even lower down the list next year with Su’a, Molo and Burgess coming to the club
