I’m not complaining about it not being a big signing quiet the opposite. I’d rather fill his spot with a Neville on a base wage and take a punt on them. Hiroti just doesn’t look like a footballer, if he had 1 really good attribute that he can then work on building up the rest of his game then fine but he isn’t fast, no leg drive in hit ups, no strength in his defence, nothing under the highball, no allusive footwork, poor handling, looks lost and disinterested.
Hey I hope he turns out to be a solid back up option but he needs to do a shit load of work to get there.

Reminds me of Eion Crosson. They are both goal kickers too, Eion with a far better reputation as a goal kicker. I know both play/played first grade which is no mean feat, but please, where is the young talent??

Hiroti is big, strong and fast.

I hear the Messiah of coaching is coming.

Raw he remains

How come we never get to play against a hiroti?
Or a Woods?
Or a hannay coached team.

Its not fair and there needs to be an investigation.
We do

There’s plenty of rookies(Hiroti) and plodders (Woods) in the comp.

In regards to Assistant coaches who are filling in (Hannay) well probably a few that don’t know it yet.

Is it better to sign a 22 year old hiroti or a 35 year old Goodwin. Nene MacDonald was trash and he’d be 30.

If squad spots need to be filled, surely youth is best for outside backs.
Halves older guys.
Back rower or edge is youth
Front rowers are older.

Follow that guide and the depth will be ok

Agree with this!! Depends on what kind of three-quarter they are .. some experienced, safe outside backs can come in handy for a young group, some can be completely fkn disruptive: Souths signed Mansour for cheap and he has been horrible defensively for them, Ferguson is all over shop and will probably get picked up for cheap next year.. we gambled on experience with Goodwin and McDonald and it was a lesson learned. Hiroti may not be the most athletic guy around, but he's learning, he's in the system, he has established relationships and brings some continuity through to next season. I don't get the hate either, he's not much chop, but he's only really gonna play like 6 NRL games next year so why stress?

It’s not hate, just where he is at based on current performances, compared to opposition wingers. He may have some potential in the coming years. Hope he makes it in the NRL.

Hiroti is better than a lot of wingers at some of the bottom clubs. He’s only young and as some have alluded to he won’t play that many games so he’s just backup. Worrying over nothing you lot.

Its a sensible decision. Hiroti is a known quantity as a backup. The lack of junior and lower grade football is going to slow the progress of up and comers. He is in the bottom group of squad positions and likely on low money.

If Jensen and Lualua kick on they will overtake him. If Hiroti shows improvement, its a bonus.

Hiroti meh in my mind and best memory is missing out on 4 tries that just won would have won the game. Negative.
But he has a young Frank Grimes vibe about him, quiet, unassuming and the Coach second coming resigns him. And he ain’t fugging Chambers Positive.
Can’t wait for next year.

FMD.
Hiroti.

He's young.
He's better than Nene.
He's played 6 games.
We have no depth.

Say all that about a one legged cripple.

He offers submitted tackles and bad hands.
Plus cannot finish in a less than 90% chance.

Get real.
