Could they have had a reserve day for each match?
or in the too hard, too expensive basket?

Reckon we get D/L game, which means cant afford Finch opening going one a ball or less

7.08 pm Here's Alex Malcolm with an update: "It has stopped raining. The radar looks clear for a little while at least. The ground staff have pulled off the run-up covers at both. The main covers stay on. A lot of standing water has come off the covers. It is very wet on the outfield."

Two abandonded games on the same day because someone thought it would be a brilliant idea to schedule both games at the same venue.
Hopefully this tournament will lead to changes to how cricket schedules.
This tournament could be a financial disaster.

BTW, there is a double header in Brisbane on Tuesday including NZ vs England
Forecast is for Decreasing Showers 15-20mm of rain

Mind you, BoM forecasts are atrocious since they restructured and their forecasts are worth nothing these days.

If my memory serves me correct.

Bangladesh getting a point against us in the 2015 World Cup because of the washout in Brisbane was enough to knock England out of the world cup then as well.

No. Bangladesh had like 7 points and England 4 points. Or something like that
