How many Sharks wins before he gets second thoughts…?
He still has Moylan and Trindall ahead of him.

I don't think he stays unless one of them goes. The Warriors have a few halves on deck but I think they're moving at least 1 on and SJ isn't getting any younger so he probably would have more opportunities there.

Unfortunate really, I really rate Metcalfe and think he'd make the perfect 14 for the modern game.

Good news!

We can cope with:

2. Katoa
3. Ramien
4. Talakai
5. Mulitalo

Tracey has definitely improved…

No thank you. Talakai and Wilton only cover centre for in-game injuries IMHO.
Pick backs in the backs.

2. Katoa
3. Ramien
4. Mulitalo
5. Taumoepeau

You'd have to think Moylan will be gone at the end of the year. You never know though, maybe one more after this.

It's all irrelevant though, it's far too late for Metcalfe to back out now. He signed with them almost 5 months ago. Any cooling off period has looooong since warmed.

But yes, it's a shame to see him go for the reasons you outline.

Yeah I sorta rate him too but he's left the Sharks twice now for greener pastures so he's a bit in the far Kim basket as far as I'm concerned.

That's true but it could be the Metcalfe and the Warriors come to a mutual arrangement. They didn't have Ash Taylor on the books when they signed Metcalfe. They now do and he's got a year headstart to learn the systems and connect with the rest of the spine.

Turbo out for 4+ weeks so will miss the game against us
Mixed Feelings about that. My fluffy dream was a Manly Sharks GF With Sharks righting all the past wrongs .Manly would need a really good run to get there and injuries to Turbo is not a good start. As well AS...He is out of this world player ,Does super hooman tings !

Anyway nec best thing would be Manly Stains and Boncos finishing 14, 15, 16 in any order .

You'd have Taumoepeau ahead of Ikavalu?

Taumoepeau was ordinary in that Jets game most of us watched last weekend.

But Ash is only on a 1 year deal for 2022 and not getting any chances to show his wares. He may end up a bottlenose

i hope millers first swap for f/b
iro for centre
lualua for wing
hiroti #19

i've watched over dozen of Taumopeaus games now at a decent level and i still havent seen much else other than a physical and athletic build. i havent noticed alot of flair or game breaking ability. he's been in the system a while and im not bagging him, i obviously dont get to see what the club sees, but they must see his talent..?

I agree. Maybe he has reached the point where physical gifts aren’t the only thing you need.
Bit like the fullback for sg ball.

The game is headed towards footballers again.
