NZ were excellent. Won solely because of their efforts. Just outclassed Australia in every aspect. Excellent coaching.
Madge's coaching stocks will certainly be on the rise after that.

I hope we have a rock-solid coaching succession plan for the Kiwis, because once his contract is up I think he'll have an offer he can't refuse (whether that's rep or club) from Australia.

Great performance, Hughes controlled the game very well and nz pack smashed the Roos. Very enjoyable watching kangaroos get dismantled like that, long may it continue!

Well done Kiwis, masters of the tournament final ambush. Difference between this Kiwi side and those of the past. They will put the Kangaroos to the sword if they are slightly off their game. Kangaroos have gotten away with being slightly off sometimes in the past and got home off the back of individual brilliance. This rivalry will be epic moving forward.

Also Hughes joins some of the greats of NZRL by steering his side to a major title.
