As someone that used to live in Melbourne and watch these games live at Graveyard before AAMI (including the famous Warriors victory) the games between these two were always the best to watch.
Helped by the large Kiwi fan base in Melbourne.
Forever some great NRL memories watching Israel Folau, Inglis, Slater.... then big Manu, SJ and Jerome Ropati tearing it up on the sideline. (He always seem to trouble Melbourne)


Anyway, think both games today will be close for a while but the gap between the occasion and reality of each team this year gets exposed in the 2nd half
