I'm not saying he should get it or be favourite.

The point I'm making is he is being punished based off 2 recent performances. Purdy has been every bit as bad in their 3 losses and Tua was awful against the Eagles.

Purdy has great individual numbers this year

Not in his 4 losses

Purdy can't lead comebacks, if he gets behind by more than a TD against a half decent team it is game over and everyone knows it.

The same can not be said of the others on the list who have all led 4th quarter comebacks.

Lamar is the deserving favourite, he has the best record. I just don't like how the most recent games matter the most in the voting.

Purdy has best record overall looking at QB ratings & numbers. Looking at only loses makes no sense, when case is built on best performances.

Lamar is more important to team with the best record which is probably criteria most use for MVP. No question that he is favourite.

Huge result for 9ers this weekend securing top seed with a week to go. A team which plays as hard as they do can rest it's many stars for two straight weeks. Bad news for rest of league.

Rams tried to blow it but the giants wouldn't let them. Just grateful for the win.

Just need the Steelers to win now and they're in. Failing that the whiners clinching home field could see them rest starters next week. But you never know with ratboy, he may try to knock the Rams out of playoff contention out of spite.

Rams are in.

Not bad for a supposed bottom 5 team in talent. NFL media once again show how little they know about teams around the league.

This season the 49ers have the first 2 wide receiver, tight end & running back combination to each record 1,000 yards from scrimmage in NFL history.

been a really surprising but good year of Rams football

That team is still pretty good. Not sure what the future holds with Stafford, he strikes me as a man whos a season or two at most away from giving the game away because of injury but he can still sling it... Kyren Williams and Puka are great finds that can anchor that offence for a few years. Might be enough to sustain McVay for a few more years, i thought if they had a really bad year, he might cut and run to TV but i think if he can find a successor to Stafford in the next year, with some draft capital back, in a year or two they could get back in the hunt in a real way

They will be legit superbowl contenders next season. Have all their picks and a lot of cap space to splurge. I'm not even going to bet against them this season. With Williams on the field that offense can move the ball on any defense. If they can get an edge rusher next season their defense will be much better.

Will be interesting if the Rams beat the Lions and have to meet the whiners in the divisional round.

Think 9ers are stronger this year. Kupp doesn't look 100%. Next year two highest powered offences will face each other at least twice..
