So Gazza i have looked up some stats this year on Moses.

Interesting reading when Moses has played

In 7 games Parra have won he has kicked 35/38 = 92.10%
In 6 games Parra have lost he has kicked 15/25 = 60.00%

In 5 games decided by 6 points or less he is kicking 13/22 = 59.09%.
Parra are 1/5 in those games

Yeah I reckon a few things effected him early in the season.
. Contract negotiations
. Learning Baz footy
. World Cup hangover
Not saying he didnt have some highlights early but his consistency more recently is there for all to see.
He definitely played like a 1.2 million player last game. I watch a lot of footy and it was probably the best game by any halfback all year. Defence, slight of hand, speed, kicking and goal kicking. He did it all. He also didnt have Dyl supporting.

His goal kicking is a huge indicator of our success in the game
If he nails his first kick then we generally go well if he misses we are in for a tough night

I actually went to a church where the pastor was doing this and I thought, what a load of rubbish, these people are just falling down voluntarily. So I went up to prove it and when he touched me I just collapsed and was out to it on the floor. Weirdest experience.

No I wouldn't. Burton is playing in a poor team. Parramatta are quite good. Do you think Andrew John's would have success if the rest of his team were grossly overweight 60 yr olds?

Anyway, I'm supporting Moses. He's earned his spot. A bonus for him is his speed. This is a good team. Just hope the force is with us (I can't say God otherwise my inbox will be filled up with 100 people mocking me)

This doesn't surprise me at all, I suspected as much. Thanks for not being a useless lazy merkin like me and actually digging up the stats to confirm it....

I posted in the main thread on the NRL forum

Since Latrell joined souths in 2020 he has played just 3 origin games and 3 finals matches.

Conversely he has missed 8 origins and 6 finals matches in that time.

For a player who gets pumped up he misses a lot of big games.
