As a proud member of the I Hate Mitchell Moses Fan Club I must say he went as well as he could have. He was pretty good apart from that one chip kick towards the wing. I'd have him in the running to partner Nathan Cleary going forward

Meh!! How can any players expect to do well when coached by a deadset imbecile like Freddy?? His decision to put Cook in the centres is the single most geniused thing I have seen on a football field. Not only was he not suited to the position it meant a rookie in Robson had to play the full 80. The guy is not right in head and his can take his smug screeching Harpy Brandy with him.

Hynes should have been 5/8.

Junior isn't an origin player and shouldn't play again. Even with my blue and Gold glasses on he should be thankful to have played for NSW past 2 seasons. 2020 and 2021 he deserved selection but past 2 years been picked on reputation and being a good bloke in camp.

He has played 11 origins and hasn't looked close to dominating one.

What a crap performance by the Blues! We had so many tackles inside their 20 but couldn't convert.

My only consolation is that Freddy will not be coach next year. You could see Moses was only picked for the last tackle kick, yet Freddy parked him on the right and gave Luai the keys to run the attack on the left, including several poor last tackle options.

NSW never looked in sync over the two games. That comes down to coaching. The insistence we play Penrith footy just didn't work, yet no plan B.

Putting Cook at left centre completely stuffed us, as it meant Robson couldn't come off. Why not put Murray or Yeo at left centre?

I thought Moses went well. His passing and kicking were on point. I did think he could have run a bit more, but the time he went down the right and was not supported by Chrichton put an end to that. Also, didn't realise how slow Crichton is, getting run down by DCE on the intercept.

Young

Age might get Cook and Frizell. Turbo would have to have played every game to start the year.

Paulo should only be picked if they use him right. If we are going to play left and right half then we need a specialist left half.

Moses shifted a fair bit across to the right at first receiver, Luai only went left once or twice, and that was with the ball in hand doing that sideways running thing he musta' learned off Teddy ( cause it looks exactly the same )

Nsw won the middle, we trapped them in their own 30 or 40 multiple times, and rarely had trouble coming out of our own end.

Qld won on the effort areas, cover in defence, kick chase, man in support and goal line defence ( they really pushed the boundaries on tht score, but fair play they got away with it ).
