They’re looking at their hand to work out what card to play? What do you think?

I don't know about that card but some of these Bronco fans on socials who think he got hard done by are deadset on the take.

It will probably depend how our season is going but Madge should be throwing him back in the Magpies team and making him graft his way back after earning the respect of the fans, he should have been sacked.

I think it depends how bad it gets, if it dies out after 2-3 games then nothing but if it drags for the whole season, then I can see this being done.

The Brisbane Broncos can confirm Ezra Mam has accepted both NRL sanctions and additional Club-imposed sanctions handed down, following an incident that took place in October.

Mam met with the Broncos’ Board at a formal hearing last week, before being issued with a breach notice from the NRL on Monday.

The Broncos have fined Mam an additional $90,000, on top of the NRL’s notice.

Further, Mam will be required to undertake the following:

- A Safer Driving Training Program;
- Ongoing work or study placement, to be designed by the Club’s Wellbeing and Education department;
- An ongoing Wellbeing Support Program, to be designed by the Club’s Wellbeing and Education department

Brisbane Broncos CEO Dave Donaghy said: “Whilst we are extremely disappointed that we have been placed in this position, we believe both the NRL and Club-imposed penalties adequately reflect the gravity of what’s transpired and should act as a deterrent from this type of risky and anti-social behaviour.

“Ezra clearly did the wrong thing, but he has taken responsibility for his actions and shown genuine remorse towards those involved. He understands the impact this has had on everyone around him, and the game.

“Ezra has taken steps to get his life back on track since this incident and that must continue. We have been very clear about that.

“We believe the additional measures in place are important and will go hand in hand with integrating Ezra back into the work underway at the Broncos.”

When. After his disqualification ends? Will it include telling him he's not allowed to drive if he's suspended?

Should easily win “Fantasy story of the year”.
Stephen King couldn’t come up with a one page fantasy story as good as this .
