BBC pundit Danika Priim has stood down from her role as vice-president of the Rugby Football League after being charged with sexual assault.

The 40-year-old played rugby league for England, Bradford Bulls and Leeds Rhinos women before retiring in 2021 and becoming a leading commentator and analyst for the Beeb, Channel 4 and Sky Sports.

Priim was also elected as an RFL vice-president in September last year, but left her position on Thursday night after Mail Online broke the news of the serious allegations against her.

Priim is alleged to have ‘intentionally touched a woman aged 16 or over' at Horsforth Cricket Club in West Yorkshire on July 22, 2022.

I'm pretty sure all the players knew way before he publicly came out. Different era back then. The public knew nothing about anything about the players personal lives.
