Toulouse v Wakefield, should be a good final. Toulouse all to play for, a win could give them enough points to get a higher B grade and be back in SL!
Not sure if we can watch it anywhere in Oz?

are the winners not guaranteed a place in super league?

So there’s a possibility that the loser could be promoted?

Yep.

If Toulouse win I expect superleague to deny them entry into comp because teams don't want spot to go to french club.

If that happens then Toulouse should just pack it up and concentrate on elite1.

Got nothing to do with if they win (other than the 0.25 points bonus). If they score enough to be in the top 12 of the grading they will be back in SL, all be it with a requirement to pay travel expenses. it will be up to them if they want to meet that requirement and take their place in SL.

as long as they are willing to pay the travel they wont be rejected, they were in SL two seasons ago.
Hopefully they are even though they shouldn't have to.

That being said I don't think they'll beat Wakefield so unless super league goes to 13/14 teams they won't be paying anything

they wont beat wakey but they will be pushing Cas close for the 12th place you'd think. The extra 0.25 points if they can win at the weekend could well be the difference!

2023 indicative grades:
10. Toulouse Olympique – B – 12.97 – Championship
11. Wakefield Trinity – B – 12.52 – Championship
12. Leigh Leopards – B – 12.45 – Super League
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
13. Castleford Tigers – B – 12.16 – Super League
14. Bradford Bulls – B – 12.02 – Championship

Cas put out a statement saying they expect to increase their score to around 15, though that may be optimistic.

Big blow for the Bulls tonight. Coach, Eamon O’Carrol, resigns. He’s been offered a job on coaching staff with a SuperLeague team. Not announced where yet, but probably a Lancashire club.
