We had a do-over for Tommy against th Titans at Campbelltown a few weeks later.Dead club legend as well.
I remember them getting tonked after Tommy Raudonokis died.
No - this is a slim pass, IMO. It's up on last year (just) which was a Saturday 3pm game with incredible weather. 6:15pm on a Sunday night is a trash timeslot.Meh.
it’s Canberra.
It's a shame Raiders got dudded with two Sunday night matches after daylight savings ended. No - this is a slim pass, IMO. It's up on last year (just) which was a Saturday 3pm game with incredible weather. 6:15pm on a Sunday night is a trash timeslot.
First million up and a round faster than last year (aggregate after 6 rounds last season was 918,733)
The late Sunday and early Friday games severely hamper the effort to build an NRL attendance culture. Why are we still playing games at 6pm on a Sunday?
2pm and 4pm are surely better options.
Also terrific to be averaging 21k per gameFirst million up and a round faster than last year (aggregate after 6 rounds last season was 918,733)
NRL No idea. Why are we still playing games at 6pm on a Sunday?
2pm and 4pm are surely better options.
Channeling western suburbs magpies.
Why do the tigers always play so bad at Campbelltown?
.
Yeah Sunday 6:15pm isn't a good time for footy. I don't know how it rates well either as the news is on then aswell as big tv shows. Latest a Sunday game should start is 5pm but even that's pushing it.
I'm really glad the Sunday 2pm starts return next weekend.
100% agree with you.Why are we still playing games at 6pm on a Sunday?
2pm and 4pm are surely better options.
If all teams threaten to leave unless it gets rectangularised then it may help. If the government is staring down the barrel of an 83k stadium with no full time tenants then they may take action. If Bulldogs plan ever starts to take shape then it’s a very real possibility.
I do like the idea of Dragons & Tigers both doing a 9-3 split with 9 @ 25k upgraded Wollongong/Campbelltown and 3 at Allianz.
I remember a time there weren't any late sunday games on regardless of daylight saving.100% agree with you.
The earlier Sunday matches (2pm kickoff) should've commenced on the round daylight savings finished. I still can't believe the NRL persisted with the 6:15pm matches for two more rounds.
