The Broncos have sold maybe another 800-1000 tickets today. Pretty incredible, and the ticket person has dropped the ball again. Simply not enough tickets on sale to keep up with the demand in the cheaper categories.

Here is how we're tracking:

- Black line - sold out (limited seats held back might be released in the coming days)
- Pink line - these should sell out, if they do -- 35-36k (identical to the Bunnies game in round 2)
- Green line - if we keep selling at the pace of this weekend we might shift these areas in addition to the pink lines. If so -- 37-38k.

This is just a guide. The Broncos might list 723 and 724 instead of 720 and 719. But I think they'll run with the green lines and price them as corner. They might even list 726 and 725 rather than 727-730 but we'll see. I'd love it if they just crammed everyone in level 7 Hale St sideline. Looks way better.

Yeah Sunday 6:15pm isn't a good time for footy. I don't know how it rates well either as the news is on then aswell as big tv shows. Latest a Sunday game should start is 5pm but even that's pushing it.

I'm really glad the Sunday 2pm starts return next weekend.

I'm surprised its this late in the season for a Sunday 6pm game. I dont know if its to do with TV ratings and if it is, it certainly wouldnt rate too well. Given the most recent event, a lot of people wouldnt have know this game was on.

The next Sunday's 2pm game should be an interesting one.

If all teams threaten to leave unless it gets rectangularised then it may help. If the government is staring down the barrel of an 83k stadium with no full time tenants then they may take action. If Bulldogs plan ever starts to take shape then it’s a very real possibility.

I do like the idea of Dragons & Tigers both doing a 9-3 split with 9 @ 25k upgraded Wollongong/Campbelltown and 3 at Allianz.

Before they threaten, Bulldogs and Souths could have discussions with the state gov and see what the future looks like at Homebush. It's a 25 year old stadium, whose current shape/ configuration doesn't suit any sport.

How long is old Stadium Australia going to be in it's present state?

100% agree with you.

The earlier Sunday matches (2pm kickoff) should've commenced on the round daylight savings finished. I still can't believe the NRL persisted with the 6:15pm matches for two more rounds.
I remember a time there weren't any late sunday games on regardless of daylight saving.
It seems there was a lot of qld games being scheduled in that timeslot and the players (but mostly media) were complaining about the heat. Rightly so from a players and fan perspective.

But if I was wearing my tinfoil hat it would be likely that the very same media who also broadcasted the game would benefit more from the night timeslot than an early afternoon game.

Either the nrl were fooled and started the late games or it was just sold as a heat issue and given to the broadcasters for free as usual like the nightime gf.
