Yeah f**koff.

Why is it always the Dragons these idiots demand give up home ground advantage. There's never any calls for Penrith to move games from their sold out stadium .

Dragons fans are finally starting to sell out their stadiums again and they want to take the matches away. Would be a slap in the face to all the members.
true - start complaining when there is more than 1 sellout in 10 years

While I agree to keep it at kogarah, there are some unique circumstances with this game which does justify a discussion to move it, as this game could possibly sell out Allianz with another 20k tickets sold.

Dragons would make so much money moving it as it’s their home game

Dave Smith had it right.
Right game, right stadium.
Clubs blew up because they are mired in the past dinosaurs thatd rather keep asking more from the NRL grant than build their own busiesses and customer base.

It’s not that simple

you sometimes can’t tell which games are going to be a blockbuster until a week before

dragons crowds have been putrid for a long time

That doesnt mean you cant be proactive in using the best stadiums for the games that have the potential. Like I've said before Sydney has 2 world class rectangular stadiums. Use them. Friday Sydney game at Allianz every week and Sunday family game at Commbank every week. NRL controlled, marketed, priced, both sets of members get in etc. Clubs compensated for losing a 'home' game. Make it so there are two big RL event games in Sydney every week using your two amazing stadiums.

Again you have no idea. You will see 1st hand next year when Penrith are playing out of Parra why the Sydney clubs want it this way

It's great suburban grounds are being sold out, but they are still massively reducing our average crowds.
Tigers have an excuse for the shite average this weekend, the Sharks do not. They are an embarrassment.

Yeah but as a soccer fan that I know you are

Take the 18k at Belmore yesterday. That beats the ave of 2 EPL clubs and 5 or 6 serie A clubs.

That is how it goes in World sport larger clubs pull the smaller clubs up

Better than empty seats and so on that happens if these games get moved

Penrith is a bad example

dragons and tigers most certainly can take home games to Allianz

sharks could too

So you are going to move 2 of the worse clubs performance wise to have 10k sit in a 45k seater?

If it made sense Richo would move the Tigers in a heartbeat there. Very likely both clubs lose money doing so

Huge difference between 12 home games somewhere and occasional event games that would be spread throughout the clubs. A better analogy would be to look at games like Anzac, easter show etc. where clubs take games to big stadiums and we get great crowds.

Again should be NRL controlled. Guarantees clubs dont lose money and NRl with all its resources can do it right and make some money off it when its done right.

Why would the Dragons want to move one of their biggest must win games for the last 10 years away from their home ground?

They would throw away a strong patriotic pro dragons crowd to invite another 10k Bulldogs fans to play at a neutral ground at Allianz. It would destroy every advantage they have of possibly winning the game.

Which is you know, the whole point of football. Winning games.

Allianz should have a Sydney derby each week on Sunday (as much as possible)
