I agree with you, but unless the dragons and tigers start playing at the big modern stadiums that success won't be realised in big home crowds. It will be the other big sydney clubs that benefit from the away followings.
Hard to tell if members have turned out. With the passing shower, likely a few staying up in the concourse, like in the North and South stand. We'll see how it's looking in the second half when the rains gone. Rain only started 15 minutes before kick off - don't think many would have put off many prior to getting there.

So they had the potential to sell another 6k more tickets, but they decided not too?
I've covered it at length but the capacity in the GA areas are reduced, and stadium members take up appx 8.5k and their attendance is pretty poor.

Incredibly that is the smallest crowd Souths have played in front of in 2024 (Vegas 37-40k, Brisbane 35k, Allianz 37k, Accor 35k)
Should be a rule, if members don't wanna turn up, they should forfeit their seats for a paying customer.
Now that a lot of my rule changes are coming in it is really starting to fire.
