Only 2 tickets left on-sale for Titans v Broncos clash, so we're pretty much on the verge of 4 sell outs (Auckland, Perth, Gold Coast, Belmore) with Cronulla & Penrith within reach.

Melbourne v Dragons sales isn't amazing, maybe 16K for the game?
Awesome news.

how in the f**k have the sharks not sold 11k tickets yet?

Afl don’t like competition
They've certainly been very agressive in competing with the NRL in Queensland, Melbourne and now Perth since the Dolphins came in. At least the then SCG Trust gave the AFL a spray for constantly scheduling Swans games at the exact same time as Roosters and Waratahs games next door a few years ago

Looking forward to Round 23, some promising signs already:

Cowboys v Broncos
Only 8 single seats left at QCB Stadium. Will be announced as a sell out.

Knights v Wests Tigers
Bays 2 - 10 and 51 - 59 are down to single seats or sold out in the east and west concourses. Decent sales in the upper parts of the grandstands as well. On track for another 20K crowd, not beyond the realms of possibility that it will sell out.

Dragons v Bulldogs
For the first time this year, the grandstand at Kogarah is done to single seats, and Bronze bays are down to limited capacity. I imagine there are some seats being held back, but on track for a sell out.

Canterbury Bankstown Bulldogs Media Release (supplied)

Belmore Sports Ground Sold Out: Round 22 Bulldogs v Raiders

The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs have today announced that the double-header featuring its NRL and NSW Cup sides on Sunday, August 4 has officially sold out.

More than 18,000 people will pack the Hill and Grandstand at Belmore Sports Ground on Sunday afternoon for what promises to be a thrilling double-header.

First up in NSW Cup, a crucial top of the table clash between the Bulldogs (currently sat in 3rd) and the Raiders (2nd) will unfold from 1:45pm. The squad will look to carry on form from a dominant win over the first-placed Bears last week and will be relying on crowd support to help cheer them through another tough fixture this week.

Then the Bulldogs NRL squad will run out to face the Canberra Raiders as they fiercely defend their home-ground in attempt to remain undefeated at home in 2024. With the Raiders currently sat just outside the top eight and the Bulldogs battling for their first finals series since 2016, it is sure to be a highly competitive clash.

The two games coming to Belmore will also mark the NRL's Women In League Round - a round which celebrates the women playing crucial roles at every level of the Rugby League community, from executives, to head coaches, and on field talent, inspiring the next generation on our fields and screens each week.

Playing at the family friendly times of 1:45pm and 4:05pm with a large number of activities planned, it is sure to be an enjoyable afternoon for all.

With thousands of Blue and White faithful getting ready to pack the stands and the hill, patrons are being urged to plan their trip in advance and to arrive to early to avoid delays at the gate. Early arrivers will enjoy 20% off food between 1:30pm and 2:30pm at the team branded food outlets inside the grounds.

Whist the event has officially sold out, limited seating may become available through Ticketek from time to time this week should Members opt to re-list their ticket for sale. Interested parties are encouraged to check the Ticketek website as tickets will appear directly on the site after they have been relisted for sale. Please note that these tickets are subject to availability and will be processed as a first in best dressed purchase. Unfortunately the Club cannot maintain a waitlist or hold any tickets for interested parties. Interested parties are being urged to be careful and remain vigilant for scammers or scalpers and advised only to purchase tickets directly through Ticketek - the club's official ticketing supplier - should they become available.

The Club thanks Members and fans for their overwhelming support in 2024 and we look forward to welcoming ticket holders to Belmore on Sunday.

Shame the dogs only have 2 games left at Accor (and against low drawing teams). This is probably the best they’ve been in almost a decade. Hopefully their form carries into next year, they’re a sleeping giant in terms of crowds.

And the Manly game is a 6pm Friday game.

Both games are tracking for 20K + even with the timeslot... A few more wins and we could crack 25K+

Anything above 20K is a decent result for those matches. Hopefully the dogs can get a home game against a Sydney side in the finals, could be a huge crowd.

They roll into the northern states and think they own it all like they get away with it in Melbourne.

I bought tickets to the sharks rabbits game last week. I got general admission as all other parts of the ground were ‘allocation exhausted ’. The average man or woman would assume this meant there were none left.
Today there are limited seats in the away team bay, Monty porter stand, et stand, and the Peter Burns stand. At most there appear to be two seats together or single seats depending on the stand but this is pretty bloody ridiculous. I’ve experienced this before with ticketek and nrl games particularly during the World Cup but it doesn’t stop it being really fecking annoying.

Surely the sharks would have posted a sellout on their website and all other social media platforms?

For a lot longer than you will be around.

It isn’t a major metric.

Tv rights is the big ticket for the NRL

But don’t stop bitching…. It’s so much fun.
The sharks are dragging a booming NRL down with their ugly little stadium and pathetic low crowds.

time to move on Im afraid and award the sharks place to another Queensland team or Adelaide which wouldn’t affect the NRL’s big ticket TV rights.
