Sunday's NRLW Semi Final between the Broncos v Sharks at Totally Workwear Stadium is showing as 'Allocation Exhausted' on Ticketek.

Langlands Park (I still call it that) only has a capacity of 3500 so it’s not a big ground.

Moving prelims to a soulless venue with no atmosphere probably won’t do much to keep new folk around.

Create a sense of FOMO, make it a hot ticket, force people to consider memberships.

I know. It's unfortunate that there is lack of mid-sized rectangular stadium options in Brisbane where a game like this could be taken.

The Broncos would never play in Redcliffe now the Dolphins are in the NRL & RL would never play at Ballymore (although it can only hold 5-6K these days).

Davies Park & Wynnum's Kougari Oval are only a bit bigger at 5K.

They took NRL money last year for Storm matches, theyve held Origin there.

AAMI Park wasn't available last year for few weeks because of the WWC. So the Storm didn't have much of a choice.

The last time Origin was played at Docklands was in 2012. In 2016, the AFL bought (as it was known at the time, ) Etihad Stadium.

Ipswich would be perfect. Will have a population of 500k in a little over a decade.
