Looking ahead to next year, Dolphins have confirmed they'll play 9 home games at Suncorp in 2025 and 2 at Kayo.

Their 12th match hasn't been confirmed, but will most likely be in Perth again.

Positive signs the club has continued to increase the number of matches at Suncorp.

For those playing at home, in 2024, the split was 8 Suncorp/3 Kayo/1 Perth and in 2023 it was 7 Suncorp/3 Kayo/1 Sunshine Coast/1 Perth.
Souths have announced they’ll be paying at optus in 2025. I expect it will be a double header with dolphins the other ‘home’ team.

good they are moving more to Suncorp. Kayo stadium isnt fit for nrl games.

Hopefully they move all the Kayo games to the Sunshine Coast stadium once the upgrade is complete.

Would be nice if they made the temporary 20k capacity for the Olympics permanent. Surely if the Dolphins guarantee 3 home games a year, the Rabbitohs play 2 games there a year instead 1 (no more Perth games, once the bears are in), that would be enough to convince them.

Superb atmosphere at Parra today. Loud AF.

25k of that 28k were Tongans, easy.

There's only about 500 people still here I reckon. Strange order to play the games in.

Kinda looking forward to next year without Australia. The Tongans and Samoan fans just make such a good atmosphere, crowds should be awesome.

Where do we think we will play the games. CommBank might be good to host Samoa vs Tonga. Then maybe mt smart and Hamilton. Could even be a good opp to take a game to the islands probably Samoa.

Went today what an atmosphere only parts not sold would be corporates. I’d say over 2/3 were supporting Tonga but it sounded like the whole stadium. And for those who quickly go on about not every seat being full, commmbank has a lot of terrace viewing areas where heaps of people stand and watch who would otherwise be in their seat.

Assuming it is NZ, Tonga and Samoa could play all games in NZ with Tonga v Samoa at Mt Smart and the others spread around the country

Though do like the idea of at least 1 game in Samoa

Where should Samoa v Tonga be played is interesting

Now potentially it could sell out Allianz stadium

Tongan crowds in nz seem better than Samoa ones but Sydney seems to have a strong representation of both

That should be the opening game of the pacific cup it would be huge

4.38 million people have now attended professional rugby league this year in Australia, NZ, Fiji and PNG
crowds for the Pacific Championship were all close to sell outs except for the opener at Suncorp which still got over 30k
Think if they can repeat that it would be a profitable comp and could hopefully subsidise the Bowl and women's games
