Atkins and Klein are marionettes. Game managers more than referees.
If anyone remembers The Thunderbirds TV series maybe they could superimpose Klein’s face on the character called “The Hood” and Atkins’ face on The character “Penelope”. Both game managers are quite capable of pulling out a random set restart on the 5th and piggy backing a team out of trouble. The NRL is truly blessed to have two generational game managers plying their trade at the same time.

On the actual game, we just weren't good enough.

We started well but failed to sustain it for 80 minutes. We haven't put together 80 minutes all season. The talent is good enough to win games under those circumstances against all but the top two.

We have been leaky all year in defence, letting soft tries in every game and once again that occurred in this one. After being well on top the first 10 minutes we conceded as soon as storm got in a decent position. From there they were relentless the rest of the half and the game was essentially over at half time.

We did well the start of the 2nd half to get back in it and but like in week 1, you can't afford to get 20 points behind in these games.

I wouldn’t say the Roosters just didn’t show up. This was pretty expected wasn’t it? They’re known flat track bullies and have a known poor record against the top teams.

They need to realise that simply throwing money around to pick apart less fortunate clubs isn’t going to be enough to compete for a comp with the current top 2. For the off season they need to out the paper bags away and simply focus on developing some grit and discipline. Even with the losses next year the team is good enough on paper to compete - somethings just not right though.

If someone can trouble the Storm, it should be Roosters. But one has to observe their game V Panthers 2 weeks ago when they had no answers against a good side. Then a week later they beat a side who was down and out for the count after one minute, Manly were not going to in that.

I think it will be as usual, a close match up to the point when exhaustion will set in with this match with it being played like a grand final.

Storm to run away with it by 34-12.
The ‘experts’ on nrl 360 should give up doing previews. They focused on how good teddy has been this year and how he could lead them to a win. Paps’ speed was the difference between the teams. Teddy was about as useless as the 2023 round one game v dolphins

Roosters need a total reset. They've got an opportunity to do that with a number of players on the way out the door.

Their style of football cannot match the best teams anymore. They won't win a competition again until this is addressed.

Storm played well but have a bit of softness in them. Really hope the peoples team get up tonight so they can expose Melbourne next week.

I can’t believe the storm scored 8 tries and neither winger scored any, RIP all our Multis

Storm well wow, once they settled they never looked troubled.

East’s missing Walker were always in a hiding to nothing. Kearys the worst defender in the game, they met as well have defended with 12.

huge year for them and Robbo next year. 2025 reeks of 2015
