The Broncos have always tried to steer clear of using Gold away jerseys for some reason in the 21st century. It probably has something to do with the fact that some of their most embarrassing losses (e.g losing 0-59 to Parramatta in 2019) have been in Gold jerseys. Parramatta and even The Dolphins too have been reluctant to use Gold jerseys with the former having similar reasons to Brisbane
parra have had some massive floggings in their white surrender jerseys but they still keep wearing them
they are steering clear of gold as well maybe it's a suggestion from the broadcasters due to clashes with the signage or something?

No... Eels and their fans don't fork out for yellow merch, they seem to generally buy blue, its the classic pink is gay, men dont wear bright yellow analogy, its 2024 people the reiging 3 peat premiers wear pink, the eels should be embracing their colors,
Call it gold if you must but a canary yellow away or home is a must, not that shambles of a white jersey, imagine forking out $160 for a white Tshirt FFS, atleast the broncos have their shithouse white jersey have a collar

Why on earth did Souths wear their white (away) shorts. Yes, they were technically the away team but black shorts would have contrasted so much better. They seem to be the only club that always wears their home (black) at home and their away (white) when away, regardless of which one is more appropriate.

If they’re going to have their home and away be so similar they need to compromise and sometimes wear the white shorts at home and black shorts away when it makes sense.

Yesterday was both teams were in a mid shade jersey with white shorts, quite a poor contrast. The Broncos home would have also looked better. Too much white in both games

Cowboys wore white shorts with their home jersey in 2020 at times. Clubs should look at wearing alternate shorts colours to pair with their home jersey. Cronulla's a good example where they could wear sky blue shorts against the likes of Souths, Penrith, Wests, Brisbane and Melbourne as the away team to increase the contrast. Because Cronulla wore sky blue shorts shortly after colour TV was introduced in 1975, it would make sense from a heritage point of view too

Rabbitohs have announced they'll be wearing a 2024 members jersey in round 25, the final design of which will be fan-voted and based on one of these designs:

What's the 74 on the sleeve signify?
It's an odd one, all the players seem to have their heritage number on the chest but a random different number on the sleeve. I can't figure out what 74 means for Smithies
