Ah, good one.

I just assumed too see through when wet i.e. games in the rain, not that I've seen or heard of that as an issue.

Light coloured shorts would be no good either, so I guess they wear dark coloured shorts only.

Only other time I thought white pants would be a problem is playing cricket on the sub continent if you sharted.

Poor tigers can’t catch a break.
6 whole pages for the WNRL's whole season lol
I watch some of the games but there’s so little discussion here I’ll admit it doesn’t occur to me to really come here to talk about it.

I gotta give a big wrap to Sam Bremner at the Roosters. She wasn't even in the side during the pre-season, in fact she was retired, having retired at the end of the 2022 NRLW season.

When Corbyn Baxter, who was the Roosters incumbent fullback, did her ACL Just before the season started, Bremer came out of retirement to play for the Roosters at fullback. She missed week 1 of the season so as to give her some time to get up to match fitness, but has been a constant in the side since Round 2 onwards. She was scintillating against the Knights on the weekend.

Sam has already said publicly she will be going back into retirement at the end of the season as, despite her love of playing, she wants to have time to help raise her kids. Also she has a new job lined up - Head of Women's Football for the St George-Illawarra Dragons where she starts on 1 November.

So kudos to her. 2 seasons retired, yet comes back to league with a bigger impact than Sonny Bill Williams return in 2013.

Agreed

With 10 teams now and a reasonable length season, the top 2 should get a 2nd chance.
I'd go one step further, 12 teams next season - top five finals in the old NSWRL format. Four weeks.

Season will have to extend to eleven rounds anyway, so it will be played over a longer period and become more meaningful, deserves a longer finals series

Yeah I forgot about the additional teams so yes a top 5 system with a 15 week season would work perfectly.

So that would see it start in conjunction with the men's round 17 which was the week after origin 2. Interesting to see how they work women's origin in to that schedule.
