The moment the warriors had momentum but the had a penalty against them for the TMM tackle, that ruined the contest

Sutton ruined this game in the second half

ruined the whole game, first 20 gave Warriors about 3 soft penalties as a result Storm had no ball, couple drop balls there as well so partly Storms fault.. 2nd half of the first the bad calls shifted to the Storm and this 2nd half Storm have got all the crap calls.

I could live with the first half

going back a few tackles to give a penalty right after he missed Hughes high shot was crucial

The non call on Egan was a massive moment in the game.
Egan took it to the line, got whacked around the head, gets up with blood flowing from his mouth, Hughes is calling for him to get a HIA and the bunker and ref do nothing.
Blokes have got 10 in the bin for much less.
After that point, the Wahs played really dumb but.

It was bizarre but I thought it was very fortunate that it wasn't ruled a strip in the first place. Warrior player literally grabbed the ball out of the hands. I might need to check the wording of the strip rule but I feel like the refs get way too hung up on the 'stripping motion' part.

The rulebook:
Stealing the ball is deemed to occur only
if a player demonstrates the intent to strip
the ball. Incidental contact with the ball that
occurs while making contact with the player
will not be classified as stealing the ball.

Warriors to give Storm a touch up. Storm won't have the ref so far up them this week.
A good game spoiled by some very contentious decisions going the way of Melbourne by referee Sutton he is like Kendall and Liam Moore over here in SL, wants to be centre of attention the game and players are just extras in his show.

That was the Bunker.
Which saw the Hughes high shot and ignored it but then go back two plays to find a penalty for the storm

but true the bunker was responsible too
