Don't care if nicho doesn't play, the tigers are playing somewhere not named Leichhardt so Cronulla would want to win this if they are in any way serious about staying in the top 4.

The Sharks confirm reports in relation to a training injury suffered by Nicho Hynes earlier today.

Hynes injured an ankle late in today's Sharks training session at PointsBet Stadium and will be sent for scans to assess the extent of the issue.

The Sharks will communicate more information when available.

Poor Nicho

literally the night before the training accident he saved a guys life talking him down from jumping off a bridge

He’s actually a good player who just hasn’t handled the extra pressure of carrying the sharks compared to playing in the Melbourne system

the rugby league gods can be so cruel at time hope he recovers from that nasty injury

I dont think weve been that bad the last 2 weeks, just terribly out classed and out coached by 2 of the best teams in the comp. Benji has finally realised that picking 5ft nothing wingers isnt a great idea and brought Lobb back in.

Hynes out for Sharks, but best 2 wins theyve had this year he missed so might be a blessing in disguise for them.

Think Cronulla at home will be too strong but we'll make a game of it. Sharks by 6.

Adam Gee makes massive stuff up on the weekend, potentially costing the Warriors 2 points and a spot in the 8.

NRL: "What do we do? I know, let's give him the Tigers match."
