Come on brother… it was a knock on in digital and analog for f**ks sake… the fact that it hit his foot has nothing to do with it. He wasn’t trying to kick the ball, he was trying to not fall over and the ball landed on his foot…
Now Warren Smith has warmed it up prematurely.
Yes it did: but it looked like a knock on (which the referee called) and luckily fell on his foot. You can’t prove or disprove his intent to kick but I think he just got lucky as it fell on his foot as he was off balance at full speed. Either or, it’s a moot point, and it’s no excuse to concede 40 odd unanswered points..It hit his foot before it hit the ground which makes it not a knock on. It changed the whole momentum of the game unfortunately.
