So typical of SJ to go out there and produce a performance like that when no one expected it. It was good to see him with a smile on his face all 2nd half.

There really wasn’t much in it. But that player in particular loves milking a penalty.

Maybe he should stop lying around looking dead all the time and the ref would have nothing to pull back.

there was nothing in Johnson’s milked penalty or Barnett’s milked penalty.

But hey at least you’re leading the milked penalty stat.

to be fair, when we get shouldered directly to the head, we don’t get a penalty, so milking it kinda the only option.

oh don’t get me wrong, DWZ’s milking drives me crazy.

in an ideal world, we would get penalties when we deserve them and DWZ wouldn’t milk.

but the refs are to blame for this.
This is exactly right. I would add the media as well; the prevailing thinking that you aren’t penalised unless you have hurt the opposition comes from then.

if referees ruled to the laws of the games rather than to outcomes, we would have less milking.
