JD’s last match for Souths.

Will they have a banner for him to run through?

Sam Burgess can hold one end of the banner and Josh Mansour the other end.

And he can run with his two kids Lattrell and Cody…….

Sharks lose, I'd be happy to give Fitzgibbon a Benny Hill slap on that bald head of his.

Latrell Mitchell out suspended, Jye Gray at fullback.
Izaac Tu'itupou Thompson dropped, Tyrone Munro back on the wing.
Damien Cook dropped, Peter Mamouzelos to hooker, Havili on the bench.
Sean Keppie and Tallis Duncan dropped, Shaquai Mitchell and Davvy Moale on the bench.

Well... he's certainly rolling the dice for his last match.

Was funny to see the journos on NRL 360 - the guys that get paid to know rugby league inside and out - show surprise at Cook being dropped. I mean have they actually watched Souths play this year? Because nobody who has actually watched them this year should be surprised.

Josh Papali'i ran straight past him for the match winner in the 2019 prelim.
Isaah Yeo ran straight past him for the match winner in the 2020 prelim.

These are not new things. His running game has also disappeared. And before people blame our pack - if you can only do a decent run after the world's quickest play-the-ball, then you're not as good as people say you are.

Wade Egan embarrassed him on Saturday. He had to be dropped.

He is super professional, super fit, nice bloke, works hard, team player, speaks well good club man, etc - all this masks his deficiencies. He's a decent NRL hooker but he's no longer the star people make him out to be.

Just like I mentioned in the Parra GD forum, Souths have to suck it up and grind away. They have to take on board what is being said by the fans, not just the media.

Souths in a surprise boil-over by 16-10.

This really depends on to what extent JD has lost the players. Will they turn up in what will surely be his last game or do they just want to see the back of him?

Either way, I find the odds astounding, Sharks can't blow teams away and will keep souths in this.

Wouldn’t be surprised to see South’s win this. Sharks might think they just need to show up
