It mostly evens out over time, but it takes years and you can get lucky for a couple of years. The NRL do it to themselves a bit with wanting certain teams in ‘marquee’ games. Anzac Day, Vegas, etc..

Many of the experts had Souths and the Warriors in their top 4 this season.

A lot of them had the Cowboys as one of teams to watch this year.

On the other hand we didn’t have a lot of love of even being in the top 8 this season.
