Honestly, DWZ dropped the ball trying to put it down. If Marzhew tackles him when he lands he might also drop it trying to put it down. I understand no PT, should be 10 in the bin though.

Worst thing for the Warriors is Newcastle working it out of their own 40. Butler is absolutely salivating waiting to blow a penalty.

This is from the NRL's laws of the game

Penalty try (d) the Referee may award a penalty try if, in his opinion, a
try would have been scored but for the unfair play of the
defending team. A penalty try is awarded between the goal
posts irrespective of where the offence occurred

Based on the current wording of the rule we should be seeing a lot more penalty tries than we do. For example where a team is defending right on its goal line and the referee calls a player offside but he still makes the tackle one on one.

We keep playing the tactic of bombing and trying to pin them. Refs are just marching them out of danger.
We need a plan B, Plan A is just not happening the last month
