I love Aus v Eng/GB RL series, but f**k I hate it that we call it the Ashes. Surely we can have a uniquely RL name for the series / trophy.
I don't know.....the cricket version is obvs a bigger thing and if we can gain some reflected marketing from that I think is ok for me.... ..

We have also used it for many years

Just naming it something random will have no cut through with anyone outside the game

Kangaroos losing him isn't the problem. Its the fact that the kangaroos will face him if samoa is on the same pool as the kangaroos. Imagine facing the nsw backline with hammer at the back and then you have Tino and Haas in the front row.
Think it was on TripleM or another podcast about predicting a period of dominance for Samoa in a year or two...or at least codominance with Oz

I think Joey talks a lot of shite usually but he really sees the value of this as a good thing along with Tongas rise

I really can't understand idiots wanting to change Origin rules to try and strong arm Pacifica players into only being able to choose Origin or thier country of choice (Fittler is off his head in my view )

If anything go the other way and let Radley and whoever else play Origin

Do Fittler and co not see that Oz's complete dominance over the other international sides is a big factor in why our international game trails kick and clap ?

Agreed, I don't buy the dominance argument. It's more to do with how the game is administered, organised and funded. Hopefully it's all up from here.
England is key here mate whether people like it or not

We are bigger and richer than any other playing nation including Oz....

An Ashes win and even a WC win would in my opinion light a flame here.....

I also think it would light a flame in Oz....

if it became even close to an even contest regularly then I can see a 2 year reciprocal tour cycle happening ... Would be amazing

Five more weeks of this Lomax form and might not even make the squad. Taken nothing back to his club from the origin experience. That’s the big differences between nsw and qld

Does anyone know if all the blocks in the lower bowl were put on sale and are the coloured in blocks on the ticket site that don’t open the sold out blocks?

The £20 tickets in the upper bowl north stand seem to be selling well as I would estimate that about 90% have been sold.

Will cold beer's
Hot pies.
Be available at Wembley stadium

Yes, plenty of beer. The food will be overpriced crap though.

Your best bet for food is around the ground. There’s restaurants in the shopping centre next to the ground, BoxPark (though it’s £10 to get in) and bars and restaurants around the ground following loads of building work.

Don't blame people if they can't afford more but there is a huge difference between the upper bowl and even the second tier and the bottom bowl at Wembley

The best option is get the cheapest corner seats and then move...there are always seats free on middle half way line ....usually about 40% are free at RL games

i was pleasantly surprised to see how little are left no matter the price.

the RFL should do the same in the opposite south stand in order to create a little more momentum and shout about it on social media.

Wembley is very multicultural, but London is as a whole. It’s very South Asian in and around Wembley. Around the stadium has seen loads of blocks of flats and additions of chain restaurants and bars, so there is plenty of choice across pretty much all cuisine in the immediate vicinity of the stadium.

Yep but expensive ...generally edible though

Pro-tip....go well away up high street for cafes etc....better deals but use local businesses not mobile /pop up things

DO NOT und any circumstances buy from any kind of food van/trailer outside the ground or near....horrendously disgusting and as if not more expensive that the ground....even for a can of pop

Sainsbury's express is just outside ground and we often get a meal deal for £4!

I don't drink any more but I always used to bring a hidden spirits flask or two and just have that

You can fill a bottle with chilled water for free from the concourses
