Some awful but predictable selections from Wane

Hopefully Bateman, Havard, Newman, Oledzki and Watkins dont make the match day 17.

Would you have Oneil over Clark and Jez?

Yeah, I would over Clark. I don’t think Clark has been at his best, he’s been ran into the ground by Paul Wellens at Saints and not really spelled despite being 32 and he’s likely to be retiring in a year’s time when there’s a World Cup and England will need a replacement for him (and Walmsley, Bateman and Watkins).

There’s always been a belief that Shaun Wane had his favourites and there was a Wigan bias to his sides and that’s not been dampened by this selection.

John Bateman has no place near an international side these days and George Williams has led a rudderless ship around the pitch at a dysfunctional and awful Warrington side. “Credit in the bank” the line for their inclusions. How old is the credit? It’s utterly pathetic.

The selection of just 3 Wigan players with Nsemba, Thompson and Marshall especially not selected has caused prompts that Wigan employee Wane has selected very few to give as many as he can a larger rest period.

How you could pick Bateman over Hadley I don’t know. Picking Williams over lewis is akin to Walters picking Tedesco over Walsh, just because.

latest official figure of “around“ 50k to me sounds like less than 50k in reality.

target of 70k has now dropped to 60k tells me that there’s going to be a lot of disappointment people come the announcement of the 1st test crowd.

Why would less than 70k be a disappointment?

Even if it's only a touch over 50k, it will still be in the top 5 best crowds for a rugby league international in decades.

because 70k+ was the initial target and after the 2nd&3rd tests were sold out within days of tickets going on sale along with 30k sold for Wembley 3-4 months ago people got excited about this actually being achievable.

I agree.

Seeing chatter of free tickets being offered to NHS staff in north London.

again I’m not opposed to this as well as the free tickets to school kids and the military as well.

Best player in Super league NOT picked as Wane basically doesn't like him, but all his mates who are way pat their best picked, he is a total Dinosaur and even at the Grandfinal said We when talking about Wigan says it all, O'Connor has flaws but is the one person who can think outside the box and do something different, Wane basically wants 13 plodders to 'Get stuck in', shocking selections a plenty.
