Obviously it's well known that Aus has the greater pick of athletes due to popularity and money of the NRL. But even so we still see NZ and even Tonga jag the occasional upset despite the disadvantage.

Because, despite the romanticism, Tonga, NZ and Samoa are NRL players raised and developed in Australia via NRL pathways.

It's NBA versus NBL currently with England

Walsh just had probably the worst ever game for an Australian in a Kangaroos jersey, well at least since the 90s. He's an amazing talent but hopefully people settle down now.

The super special Paul "Creepy" Crawly still gave him a 6 out of 10 haha. How are these merkins employed?

Slept through the second half.

Haters missing the point. The Kangaroos are essentially the Harlem Globetrotters on this tour. Its brought in big crowds. Now talk of England hosting round 1 in future. Its been a success already.

And hopefully makes England wake up a bit. Their RL competition sucks and its national team is the worst of all the competitive nations.

The ref not even having a 10m kept it closer but after 20 mins the product wasn't great and I doubt any Poms watching their first game will come back again.
The product was shit just like 95% of Origin games.

Worst ever? Nah mate.
but it wasn't a 6.
Gave away penalties and made errors but cleaned up well at the back organized a good Defensive line and had the odd decent carry.
4.5

It's funny how polarizing he's becoming.
That's life at the top, people either try to pull you down or prop you up.

He took Brisbane to a title on his own displaying every talent that the game embodies - skill, speed, strength, endurance and courage.
Kicking, organizing, defending, passing and running.. was at the peak in every facit of the game in what is widely viewed as the best premiership performance possibly ever...

That's not going away in under a month lol

I think Walsh is hilarious and great fun to watch but he still has massive holes in his game that people just ignore

I don't think people ignore them. The things he's doing are at a 10 out of 10 in difficulty, when it misses, it's not a surprise. It's more how often it is he pulls off the near impossible that people rightly forgive when he doesn't.
More importantly, he pulls them off when it's needed most, context matters.

I thought England were MUCH better than last week. Their defence was very much up to scratch. Their go forward was pretty damn good as well. Where they lost it today without a doubt was their red zone attack. It really lacks some red zone punch from their forwards and too much sideways play. I really felt for Johnstone who had f**k all room to move whenever he got the ball.
Definitely some green shoots from England. They have a way to go with the sharpness of their attack.,

Cleary isn't the best in the game anymore, Walsh is.

Worst yet is his a Queenslander again!!
Walsh wasn't great and Cleary was better...but not better than Munster!! Oh no! Bloody Queenslanders!! Lol

A lot of Walsh, Cleary arguments on here.

Cleary: He is without doubt the best club halfback on the planet. But man, I've seen too much evidence that shows he is an average representative player. Two off the mark type games with him here. I hope Moses or Deardon gets a crack at 7 next game.

Walsh: A crazy talent...but we have to remember this fact.....three months ago, he was not even in the conversation to be a roo fullback. I agree he has had a massive 8 final weeks of NRL and I also agree that he deserves the roo jersey. What we need to put into perspective is that has only really shown this incredible form for two months. He still has work to do.

Walsh is the form player in the game at the moment....but I'd rather Cleary at my club than Walsh.

Kicking game? Passing game? Short passes, cut out passes, no look passes, flick passes, double pump cut out passes... Long kick short kick, grubber kick, step , stutter step.. Speed! Controlling at set, positional play, high jump catch.

Hass is big, if he's not big, you'd never even know he exists.
But definitely the best big man in the game atm.
