I think what some of us are not considering with this Dolphins move is that some of these Dolphins players may well want to stay home and not play. The word is Redcliffe is going to get the brunt of this cyclone. Some of these players have young families who Im not sure will want to leave their families to play. There might be a few adjustments to that Dolphins 17.
Whilst your comments are not without merit, and I'm sure there is some concern.

I'd say the vast majority of the squad will travel. I think the bigger issue will be getting home after the event.

I also doubt many of the team actually reside in Redcliffe, by the way.

The Broncos are in the exact same boat to honest.

Why does vossy get this germ on his show every week.

The same muppet who did a 4hr show while the Perth test was still on about how Australian cricket was on its death bed after 1 test match loss.

The AFL just got lucky with their draw.

Don't think for a moment they wouldn't be doing the same.

It's also not like their isn't thousands of other families in the same situation (partners that work remotely etc)

the family should be in Parramatta supporting the players and avoiding the cyclone

I'm absolutely convinced now that vlandys and abdo are tone and reality deaf idiots....do they have a clue what a cyclone is?....maybe they can look up Tracy / Darwin/ destruction....forcing players and training staff to leave their families ( literally) in the middle of a natural disaster takes brain dead stupid to a whole new level....shows you what good f**kin nice suits are in a crisis

They are money men and will protect the contract at all costs. Im surprised you havent realised this by now? Hopefully the NRl is doing the right thing and flying their families down with them.

I'm surprised you don't understand much
Does flying their families down include elderly parents...any sick or incapacitated family members ...pets including possibly horses etc ( you have been up around the GC hinterland right?) DO YOU have any comprehension of what a cyclone ( hurricane!) is?

They are not flying down families with the players....Dolphins staff member confirmed this on radio. Im not a fan of this move at all from the NRL. There is more to life than rugby league.

That sucks! Some of my colleagues in Sydney have been busy flying family down to stay with them. As a player Im not sure I'd be willing to leave my family behind.
