Thinking about it a bit more, I agree with others that the easiest solution logistically would be for them to leave it at the exact same time, and play it at Campbelltown Stadium as a double-header with the Tigers game.

Then the NRL should just compensate the Dolphins for their loss in revenue. If they don't play it this weekend I don't see where in the calendar it could be rescheduled too.

How many south’s fans would travel to Campbelltown ?

At least if it’s in Brisbane on Sunday you get all the dolphins fans who can go and south’s fans who have travelled up or are locals

I don't think you understand Cyclones.

The event is one thing, the days after are what's worse.

Some are likely to be flooded, without power, damaged homes etc.

It's a bad look for the NRL if they push ahead with the game IMO. The AFL has not only cancelled the Lions game, but the Suns match as well on the Saturday, even though Carrara will be almost 100kms away from where the cyclone is expected to hit, because they know SE Queensland will be a disaster zone.

If they have to keep the game this weekend, Sunday surely would have to be the earliest it could take place and even then, I wouldn't want to be trying to travel around Brisbane. As others have rightfully said, it's not just the players who would need to be at Suncorp on Friday, but other personnel who either could be more efficiently used attending to other parts of the disaster (ie. Like the paramedics who need to be legally at the field) or shouldn't need to put their own safety at risk to attend a football match.

South’s home game the nrl should be giving them some money given the late move

South’s should be applauded for helping the nrl meet its tv contractual commitments

Guess they are happy taking another game away from Accor

With the Round 17 game being moved, it now means for Souths

Round 17 - Away
Round 18 - Away
Round 19 - Bye
Round 20 - Away
Round 21 - Home
Round 22 - Away
Round 23 - Away

Brutal.
