Rabbitohs V Dolphins return fixture is round 17, 28th June. Broncos play at Suncorp that day so unfortunately that probably means it will be in Redcliffe which will knock 15-20k off their total for the year.

Rabbitohs V Dolphins return fixture is round 17, 28th June. Broncos play at Suncorp that day so unfortunately that probably means it will be in Redcliffe which will knock 15-20k off their total for the year.

That’s extremely un-NRL like, coming up with the best and most logical solution. Clubs must have come up with it and then approached NRL.

If this fixture only happened once this season they’d probably still be drooling about maa profertsss.

Hopefully can still play both at Suncorp just not sure if they’d ever do 2 events the same day. Not multiple games under the same ticket but separate ticketed events. They’d have to empty the stadium, give it a quick clean then get the new fans in. Maybe not impossible though.

Doubt the Broncos would want to do a shared ticket true double header as they’d be hoping for 40k+ Vs Warriors anyway.

If they can't do something like that, hopefully they consider swapping it with another game. Swapping Panthers v Bulldogs on Thursday would still be a better result (Dolphins would most likely still get 18K on Thursday against Souths)
