If the NRL got their act together and scheduled the Storm/Riff game on Saturday night or Sunday arvo it would have been a sell out.

The name of the game is tv ratings, not crowd sizes.

Probably down to 200 single seats now. Hmm - all corporate packages are sold out, so if stadium members and flexi members show it will.

Probably more likely to sit around the 48,000 - 48,500 range. But will suss it at the 20th minute, 7pm kick off in Brisbane so the crowd will fill late.

Be realistic. Penrith haven’t even sold out every home game during the last four years, despite having a smaller stadium and being RL heartland. I would hate you to run a business.
Growth is not as magical as that, especially in a hostile market. The real stat is look at the healthy increases in crowds over time. That’s healthy sustainable growth.

The Storm have gone from their lowest average attendance in 2004 of 8886, moved up to 16,000 from 2017 to 2019, up to 19,849 in 2024. That’s good crowd growth especially considering the fact they are an expansion team.

C’mon you lot, stop making excuses for Melbourne.

The best team for the past decade in a city of 5m.

Every game should be a sell out.

The storm crowd was fine. Yes it would be nice to see that game played in front of a bigger crowd in a better time slot but it was ok. Despite being up against a big MCG game, on a Thursday with rain around it was still a pretty good crowd. Rated its tits off as well, I think the NRL would be happy with that.

Amazing warriors crowd tonight. Just imagine if they have a run of form, definitely the sleeping giant of the NRL I really hope we see another NZ team in the next 5-10 years, will be huge for the game.

Could see 70K+ in total tonight, huge night or RL!

Even with a 10:30 EDT finish it's a good time for a game of footy, though as I earlier said, it gives the AFL at least 40 minutes to themselves on 7 or 7 Mate and Channel 9 don't want to lose the ratings war at all, same with 7
