I read the Sunday Telegraph today (yeah I know).

Phil Rothfield's column cited un-named NRL officials saying that the kerfuffle over Victor Radley is what will negatively affect the crowd for today's finals game ensuring it gets nowhere near 70k.

Now my first though was "Really? That is the only reason for a less than expected turn out?!!"

Level 4 is pretty full on the western side apart from the very ends. Looks a great crowd.

Bulldogs/Eels/Rabbitohs/Tigers/Dragons definitely have the supporter base to pull 70k+.

No surprise that the three PFs at Accor which drew 70k+ in 2009, 2010 and 2012 respectively featured two from those 5 teams.

I think it’s smashed the record for a Week 2 Final crowd (Parramatta-South Sydney with 54,626 in 1965).

I estimate the final crowd will be in the 61-63k range, which would put it in the top 5 all time (excluding Grand Finals and double headers).
