I'm still in THE f**kING CARPARK.

Total f**king disaster for all concerned. Even Roosters fans. They can't get home in time for their nightcap.

Cows v Penrith crowd will be sub 5k.

Park on the road mate. It's quicker to walk a few minutes and get moving straight away.

In a very encouraging sign, the Dragons have released their restricted view seats at Wollongong, including the much despised NG-K Bay.

Pretty much across all three grandstands only the restricted view seats remain. On track to at least equal, if not beat the 16K the club got last week against the Bulldogs.

Crowd wise, this is the best start for the Dragons in a long time.

Raiders v Broncos will at least be 17K+ according to this article https://www.canberratimes.com.au/st...canberra-set-for-blockbuster-despite-skyfire/

The assumption is that a significant portion of members may not turn up because of Skyfire. If they do, then 20K+ is well within the mix.

You are happy to sit on non moving trains in 35c heat?

Easy to bag from behind a keyboard
Nothing but crickets from him after the unprecedented crowd growth for the last two years. But you get one crowd below par where the clubs fans have to travel from a different part of the city then it’s “lol Sydney people are lazy lol, I guess nrl isn’t that popular in Sydney lol. lol”

The club predicted 10k, They would know from memberships etc and guess from that.

Despite horrible heat and trains issues they beat that projection that is a good result.

We play Manly and Tigers on a Sat.
Parra on a Sunday

those games will crack 20k. So it isn't like the move will be entirely horrible but people will just choose what games

Like Magic Round we are a home team. If you struggle to make it to Parra on a weeknight then you are better off going to that. Mudgee and Bathurst also are nice little trips away

That is the beauty of being a Sydney based fan you go to away games very easily. Moreso if the day suits better

Penrith playing at Parramatta was always going to be a disaster. Nothing learnt from Bulldogs and WT playing home games at the dump.

Anyone that attends games regularly knew this. It is those living elsewhere who base their opinions off google maps that felt otherwise

Fair bit of overreaction here. Penrith not drawing that well in Parramatta shouldn’t be a surprise all things considered. By the end of the year the figures shouldn’t look too bad anyway, with games against Eels, Tigers, Bulldogs & Souths to come at Commbank. Plus where else would they play this year?

It also isn’t the “I told you so” moment people are looking for regarding the idea of other Sydney clubs moving some games to the bigger stadiums. Apples and Oranges to something like the Dragons or Tigers moving some big games to Allianz.

Public transport Penrith station to Commbank about 50 mins. Bondi Jt to Commbank 60 minutes with a better service. You have to live in Penrith to know how distant it Is.

My nephew caught a train from Penrith at 5 pm yesterday and got to the ground after kick off. Many gave up after sitting at Blacktown for an hour and went back home. Another left around the same and ended up catching a bus from Blacktown to Parramatta.
we were going to catch a train at 6:10 but after we heard what was happening we drove in. Had to park more than a km away and walk. we got there around 7:15. We probably wouldn’t have got there at all if we caught the train.
