Per capita it’s gotta be Newcastle
Nah we've got them covered, we have two teams and the stadium is going to be pretty much full all year for Broncos games and the Phins will average 25k at Suncorp too. The combined memberships of the two teams are outrageously good. We've got them covered.

Newcastle fans are great but don't pull over 20k averages consistently enough.

Really? The famous red V couldn't even muster 7k but in worse weather we got 44k in Brisbane. Another famous old club who's popularity seems to be a myth. At this point start kicking them out and replace them with Ipswich and the NRL crowd averages will be better for it.
What does anyone gain from this sort of petty shit?

"ooooh, I got to put shit on a team I hate"?

Nobody benefits from a shit crowd. The game is weaker for it.

There are also some pretty clear differences between Dol v Bne as opposed to SGI v Melb, no?

Like it's really pretty obvious.

Three weeks ago St George got a full house at the same venue.

.

Brisbane has 2.9m people and only 2 teams. That's 1.45m people per team.

Sydney has 5.6m people and 9 teams. That's 620k people per team.

And no, they're not getting rid of any Sydney teams.

After a slow start on the crowd attendance front in Sydney, I suspect we will see a good number of 20k+ crowds in Rounds 4-8:
- R5 Rabbitohs vs Roosters - last year's return leg at Accor was a dead rubber for the Rabbitohs late in a bad season, and almost drew 20k. That's the bare minimum this Friday IMO.
- R5 Eels vs Dragons - a surprise win by the Dragons at home vs the Storm should mobilize some of the faithful, and I reckon we could sneak another 20k crowd here.
- R5 Bulldogs vs Knights - Canterbury's first home game of the year at Accor isn't in the best timeslot (Sunday 6:15pm), but considering they're now top of the ladder, I reckon it will top 25k.
- R7 Good Friday Bulldogs vs Rabbitohs - everything is building nicely for a historic crowd figure. Hoping over 50k.
- R7 Roosters vs Panthers - last year's Easter weekend game drew 25k. Both teams are a shadow of their 2024 selves, but it will be interesting to see how much that impacts the crowd figure.
- R7 Easter Monday Tigers vs Eels - I think it's a shame this is being held at Commbank, because if the Tigers keep their form and trajectory over the next few weeks, this would draw over 30k at Accor.
- R8 ANZAC Day Roosters vs Dragons - 40k.
