It's no coincidence that the past couple of years that have not had any Accor Stadium games in early rounds have been viewed as better attended. Not to say they haven't been better attended, but has helped not having 60-70k empty seats on broadcasts, just as much if not more.
Phew! Mental gymnastics.

Broncos vs Tigers sales update at 8:30pm Sunday.

Odd things happening with the tickets - all of level 6 & 7 were available to purchase until mid last week, and have since been removed.

Black shading - SOLD
Yellow shading - Suncorp members reserved
Grey shading - available on ticketek
Red shading - were available but removed from ticketek

People in Brisbane refused to travel to QEII Stadium, which is pretty f**king close to the city. Closer than Stadium Australia is that's for sure lol.

QEII wasn't that close to the city. No trains in close proximity to the stadium either. An awful place to get to if you lived north of the city. And the viewing experience was D class.

Great crowds for the Broncos in that first year though (1993). Willie Nelson was a great drawcard as pre-game entertainment.

Wow, sounds terrible. Perhaps people from Brisbane could be a bit more understanding about issues pertaining Sydney?

Honestly crowds have been pretty damn good this week considering the weather. Go back a few years and look how bad the crowds were when there was any rain.

Our average for the year is damn good despite the bad weather start.

Sure, but what does pointing out the obvious like that do?

Make you feel good about bagging another state? I don't get it. Surely those of us in here chatting crowds want all RL crowds to be good. Just bagging the shit out of some obviously poor crowds doesn't help the game at all
I would love Souths and Saints to live up to their potential. Until they pull their finger out and do so, criticism is warranted. Same goes for Sharks and Dolphins at Kayo.

Do you live in Brisbane? Would you drive to Beenleigh at 8pm on a Thursday night?
Homebush is the geographical centre of Sydney. So yes if you pick an equivalent spot in Brisbane I would. I've travelled to QE2, Suncorp, CBus and Kayo to watch games as do others in SEQ in large numbers, it's not that hard
