Bit of a concern that the suns draw 16k and titans 13k on the same day at a similar time slot on the GC. Especially since the titans were playing the dolphins.

Sure the suns game was a top of the table clash but still.

Pricing, NRL is more expensive to go too, so in most cases it falls behind with crowds

Not a huge concern for a one off crowd.

But as well as pricing, for mine Robina is so much more of a ball ache to get to, compared to Carrara.

For all the good RL has done over the last few years and continues to do. They are high on their own supply when it comes to pricing. GA are too expensive
At certain places it is too expensive. Warriors tickets for example are cheap, accor is cheap. I’m going with a bunch of people for a cost of 20 bucks each. Be good if nrl could review what the clubs are charging or being forced to charge for tickets.

I think it's about 18k. Always hard to tell with Commbank - as others have said, a lot of people stay on the eastern concourse out of the sun. Northern and southern grandstands look pretty healthy.

As a side note, how good are those aerial shots of Parra. It's a real city in its own right these days.
The unit market has tanked

Wait till that turns around parramatta will get flooded with loads of 50 to 70 storey residential towers

The other smaller centres will also follow but with 25 stories (Bankstown Liverpool). Penrith is the only centre that is still mainly undeveloped

You’re standard Sydney suburb is approving 25 stories now and developers are applying for 50 lol

True some are fine. QLD games aren't cheap, The crazy prices the teams get to rent the grounds.

But $15 tickets for the ends and you add a few thousand to the game and may convert some into members or getting the good seats

With the Dogs looking at 30k for the game against Newcastle today was just looking ahead at the potential crowds (based on a winning team) for the rest of the year.
Obviously a lot of variables in this based on other teams form and timeslot of the games but I think Canterbury could be pushing close to 30k average for the year
Dogs v Knights 25-30k
Dogs v Rabbits 40-50k
Dogs v Roosters 20-25k
Dogs v Dolphins 15-20k
Dogs v Parra 40-50k
Dogs v Broncos 20-25k
Dogs v Dragons 25-35k
Dogs v Manly 25-30k
Dogs v Wahs 20-30k
Dogs v Panthers 20-25k
Dogs v Sharks 15-25k

If the dogs are top four late in the season those games will be 30 to 40k

It will be the highest a Sydney club has averaged in history

I’m not sure what the current highest average for a Sydney club is but it’s not much more than 20 to 21k

That was Hazem's last game back in 2009. Crowd was 0ver 40K. Bulldogs V Warriors got 27K last year when the Warriors were in average form. Easily 30K plus if both teams are playing well.

You can price higher once you’ve built demand but if you’re a team still building a fan base ticket prices like that are counter intuitive IMO.
