Dogs south’s still good movement

411 just about all gone 412 has been opened which since the rest of east 400 are all souths would mean 400 are almost all gone

600 middle bays has decent sales in the front rows and the bays on either side they have released lots of rows so expecting to sell deep in Eastern 600s
Got tickets today PAX number 39,511

Optus is a Terrible stadium for Rugby League.
The Sooner the NRL Abandons AFL oval grounds the better the game will be.
Exactly. We don't even want Perth fans turning up to this ground to get their taste of league. It would look crap from the stands and they'd write it off.

Had a quick look at the highlights from the Dolphins v Knights 2023 Perth Double Header game and definitely were more there than this game. My guess is it will be 32K. Way better crowd if they played these games later. Dumb scheduling. Also perhaps don’t leak media stories saying a Perth team looks like it might not be happening a week out.

Agree, playing it 3:30/5:30 versus 1:00/3:30 would have been better. The last Optus Stadium double header was played in Round 23, so had the advantage of being played after Origin.

Always found it easier to promote games in markets like WA & SA if it was after Origin as that was usually when the NRL had some cut through in the local media.

Looking ahead to the rest of this round and the following easter/anzac rounds we should break some records and atleast achieve the biggest regular season crowd as well as some sell outs.

This sunday a sell out for the storm and the knights have a few hundred left to sell by the look on ticketmaster.

*Easter round Manly should sell out again even on a thursday

* Good friday will already be the biggest game of the year with over 50k and possibly 60k- beating the record of 59k for souths/roosters. Only the dogs/parra or dogs/dragons game could beat it form dependant. Also a good friday game in brisbane with dolphins/storm which should draw at least 25k, hopefully the public holiday helps it over 30k

* Easter round has a chance to beat the round aggregate record of 209k. Warriors/broncos already sold out, whilst roosters, knights and tigers should get over 20k each

* ANZAC round should start with 3 sellouts (broncos, roosters, warriors) and the storm potentially selling out as well. Games in both townsville and canberra should draw more than average as a celebration for the military history of the cities.

Could possibly achieve upto 400k over these 2 rounds all while leading into magic round which is all but sold out already and the womens origin which could set a new record crowd as well.

Not the best crowd but in Souths case, they'd be lucky to get 12k at Accor against the Cowboys (maybe more right now with the Easter Show, but the Cowboys aren't a high drawing team in Sydney)
