Dogs souths

This is the last bay in the 400s that had a lot of seats yesterday and half are gone today

If they can get rid of all of those soonish then they can sell deep into the 600s

Bays 606-609 have sold well but bays closer to edge haven't, they should really reduce the price to 30ish,

wouldn't be surprised if they open level 6 west to sell lower bay tickets as people would be more likely to cough up 50 there
Hopefully they do. The first few rows on level 6 are decent enough for people to pay $60 for.

They should look to open the front of west and change everything in row 14 onwards on level 6 east to GA IMO.

100%....

Silver Category came over the weekend but hasn't been allocated any tickets yet, I have a feeling it'll be for Level 3 and Level 6 (14 up)... Price will probably be $40 odd (Between GA and Gold).

Probably all just getting a little carried away.
Can we just say that 50k is still amazing?
Hope's of 70k is just a recipe for disappointment.

Yeah 70,000 will be very very hard to get but you never know... Will need neutrals and Easter Show people to rock up and of course Stadium Members. I think if we can get 60,000 it'll be outstanding.

We need to put in the work on these fixtures when we can. Turn them into events, which appears to be happening here.
I still don't know why we don't have double headers at accor

They've just released a further 7 rows in Level 6 East at Gold pricing ($60). I agree, seems a bit steep for the location of the seats.

Also just released another half bay of Away reserved on Level 1. You would have thought they would have already done this. Not sure what the delay would have been? Trying to sell memberships?

More positive news about how the crowd is tracking - on track to break the record for the largest standalone regular-season crowd.

---

The Good Friday clash with Souths is on track to break the record for largest standalone regular-season crowd in premiership history, currently 59,708 from a 2013 clash between the Rabbitohs and Sydney Roosters.

By last week, Bulldogs membership staff had been confident of a crowd above 60,000,
with 70,000 now a realistic target as the two clubs hit form through six rounds.

Not since 2016 have both sides sat in the top eight heading into a Good Friday clash, with fifth-placed Souths overcoming injury woes to post a 4-2 record.

"Hopefully (the crowd) does hit those numbers ... it just shows how big of a game it is and day it is," said Kiraz.

I just had a quick look at the Instagram feeds for Visit Sydney (1.3 million followers) and Visit NSW (630,000 followers)
- Multiple posts promoting the Royal Easter Show (fair)
- Multiple posts promoting the Matildas vs South Korea (which to be fair would have drawn a much bigger crowd if it was played at Accor)
- Could not see any posts promoting a regular season or event game for rugby league like Good Friday, Easter Monday, ANZAC Day or King's Birthday.

Similarly, on the website for both Visit Sydney and Visit NSW, there is no mention of a regular season or event game for rugby league, except Women's State of Origin.
Who would go to a Matildas game these days... That's bad from Visit Sydney that they don't promote the big Rugby League games on Good Friday or ANZAC DAY

44,767 is the pax update from The Kennel just now.

Using same formula from a few pages back

The Tuesday pax to Good Friday crowd ratio is 0.699.

If you use that as a factor to project this year's Good Friday crowd:
= pax / factor
= 44,767 / 0.699
= 64,044

Every metric is starting to point towards our first 60,000+ regular season crowd for a standalone game.

HISTORIC.

I'm going to be conservative with the dogs v rabbitohs and guess we'll get about 55k which would be a fantastic result. 60k plus would be unbelievable though and 70k+ would be a revolutionary milestone for the game
