Pax for Easter Saturday was 9119 when I got my GA ticket at 12:30 this afternoonEaster Saturday's clash at Allianz Stadium is showing some positive sales. Category 1 & 2 bays in the lower bowl are down to single seats with exception of Bay 18 which has around 20 seats. Panthers supporter bay is already sold out.
Definitely trending well ahead of the Titans game, possibly trending for 17-18K, though maybe more depending on how many GA seats have been sold.
In Newcatle, the southern GA has sold out and there are very few reserved seats in the lower bowl. Upper section on western grandstand doesn't have much left either. Knights fans clearly are gluttons for punishment considering how poorly their side has been playing, still encouraging to see the match on track for 20K+.
Titans sales look promising, despite having the dud timeslot of 2pm on Easter Sunday. I'm going to say 13K just because that seems to be the Gold Coast default.
1 - 1.5 hours between games at suncorp, kayo or the gabba. What's the proposal for the Dolphins/Broncos at Suncorp?
Haven’t really looked too far ahead with Bulldogs draw but IF they hit 70k they’ll be averaging around 36k
Any chance they beat the Broncos ave this year
I know they play Parramatta on kings bday which hopefully hits 50k
Plus they still have the Dragons and Roosters
Shame the dogs aren’t playing the Tigers at home this year. That could definitely be a 40k plus draw card particularly with Tigers playing half decent. Surely there is enough wiggle room in future draws to ensure all big Sydney teams play each other home and away every year?^^
Remaining Bulldogs home games:
- R11 vs Roosters at Accor Stadium at 8:00pm on Friday 16 May
- R12 vs Dolphins at Accor Stadium at 8:00pm on Thursday 22 May
- R14 vs Eels at Accor Stadium at 4:00pm on Monday 9 June (King's Birthday)
- R18 vs Broncos at Accor Stadium at 8:00pm on Friday 4 July
- R20 vs Dragons at Accor Stadium at 5:30pm on Saturday 19 July
- R21 vs Sea Eagles at Allianz Stadium at 4:05pm on Sunday 27 July
- R23 vs Warriors at Accor Stadium at 7:35pm on Saturday 9 August
- R26 vs Panthers at Accor Stadium at 8:00pm on Thursday 28 August
- R27 vs Sharks at Accor Stadium at 7:35pm on Saturday 6 September
I don't think there's enough in that schedule for the Bulldogs to usurp the Broncos as the highest drawing team.
I do think there's enough in that for Sydney's first home average of 30,000+. Pending weather and form:
- The King's Birthday game vs the Eels in R14 could draw ~50,000+ for the first time
- The Allianz Stadium game vs the Sea Eagles in R21 is to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the 1995 Grand Final. It will be the first time Canterbury plays at the new stadium, and I think it could draw 40,000
- The Friday night games vs the Roosters in R11 and the Broncos in R18 could draw ~30,000+
- The Saturday games vs the Dragons and the Warriors are something of a wildcard
Alternative way of looking at this is that Knights fans clearly are Knights fans. Who understand that the team playing well or poorly is an integral part of the gameday experience.
Mate I’m thinking we will hit 65k now should hit high 60’s about the 68k mark I thinkThey’ve sold a stack since the last update for dogs south on 600 west
622 is now all gone with 630
And the next bays have gone from very few sold to over half
631 at around 4 pm had maybe a hundred or so seats sold
621 above had under 100 also at 4 pm
The middle bays on the other side have sold stacks one bay is close to fully sold out
65k looks like a safer bet atmlate last night i asked chat gpt to count all the available tickets and when added the unavailable tickets on level 3 and unopened parts of level 6 west
i say there is around 11-13k tickets left on sale
