Did you see the dogs team is doing a parade at 2 pm from their hotel to the stadium ?

Yeah great idea to hype the crowd. I'll be at the game around 330pm... Taking my 2 year old twins no chance I can go early for that walk hahaha.

I love how both clubs seem to be hyping this game up, I don't know if they have an agreement to share takings or something but it's great to see, hopefully more clubs do it moving forward.

Tickets look to be selling well this morning... they'll need to open up whatever is remaining up on level 6 soon enough... barely anymore $10 left also.
I know they usually do that switch when the Box Office comes online (scheduled for 1pm), but they may want to do it sooner based upon how quickly seats are going.

612 & 613 have already sold out in the east and 614 is possibly only an hour away from joining them. 626 & 627 have sold all their gold allocations.

They might as well start selling beyond row 13 in the centre west bays and put some of the back rows in the east as $10 seats.

I’m gonna say 66k. Mammoth effort if it hits that. Hoping we can crack 70k but 60k plus is insane. We definitely need to stick with these marquee fixtures. It’s a shame the tigers v eels on Easter Monday has moved to CommBank. I remember them also getting 50k about 10 years back. Honestly think we should have 3 huge games at Accor on the Easter weekend to make the most of the show next door.
It’s Wests home game right? I was talking to a couple of Magpie mates and they were complaining about playing at the oppositions home ground this week.

I agree that the game should have been scheduled for Accor for that reason plus it being the Easter game.

I wonder how many people will decide to come over from the easter show, some people by 3pm would have had enough of walking all day with their kids screaming down there ears, and head over next door for a blockbuster to shut them up.

They used to do it way back let people with an Easter show ticket in for free

That’s how they got one of those 50k crowds

Wonder if they do that today

They seem confident it’s a record

If the game gets 60k plus it is going to rekindle my thinking that Parra should move its big games to stadium australia when they are a good team AND the money spent on Parra stadium should have been spent on stadium Australia instead.

Back in 2013, the articles before kick off of the final round game between Souths and Easts predicted more than 60,000, and it ended up being 59,708. Possibly we are looking at something similar. However this time we are hearing "up to" or "close to" 70,000 expected, but haven't really heard "over" 70,000.

Based on this (possibly flawed) logic, and the 5,000 or so tickets I think are still left (the ones showing as available plus the couple of thousand that are hidden atm), and then add the ever dependable no-shows, I predict about 65,000, which would still be a great outcome. If they were saying they were expecting over 70K then I would have predicted 68/69,000.

On Channel 9 last night after the match they were talking up to 75,000, but outside of them & the Bulldogs claiming they want to sell all 83,500 seats, everyone else is talking up to 70K.

I see they've released more $10 on the west which is encouraging. There is not much left on Level 6 East.
