2025 Crowd Watch

212,725 Round 26 2024.

Just to show how the progress with crowds is going, before this round 200k has only been broken 3 times, 180k had only been broken 10 times. The 2011 record of 200,312 was only broken Easter round last year, then round 26 put 10k on the record again.
it’s possible we could hit over 200k in round 14, which is the kings birthday long weekend. If the bulldogs can get another large 50-60k+ crowd against the eels. It would probably need the eels to string a few wins together and show a bit of improving form.

Then of course round 26/27 could have some big crowds depending on how close the competition is in locking in the top 8. I can see some potential clashes that might decide top 8 spots.

It would be fantastic to break 200k 2-3 times this season.

Should get 180-200k next week too.

Not sure if there is a reason for it but Warriors choosing Anzac Day for the Christchurch game is bizarre if there isn’t a good reason. They should try Eden Park one year for it.

Yep have no idea why they picked Christchurch for it. If anything they should move Anzac Day to eden park.

They can pick any other home game for Christchurch.

Partly because of that I don’t think we’ll get to 200k next round

Yeh you’d think after waiting so long to finally get a home game for Anzac they’d play it at either Mt Smart or better yet go for 50k at Eden Park. 2nd year and they ship it off to Christchurch with a stadium capacity of 18k, weird. Unless Mt Smart & Eden Park were both unavailable which is unlikely.

Christchurch’s new stadium is due to open in April next year. Warriors are still in an agreement to play there once a year so next year would have been the year to move the Anzac game if they wanted to do it as a one off.

Poor scheduling by the NRLnot to have the Bronco's playing at home, if they did we would've broken the record already.
Disagree. The Broncos are at a point where they're not having any trouble selling out their home games and are already doing enough heavy lifting for the crowd averages.

We want to use the likes of Easter, ANZAC Day, Kings Birthday, etc, to try and maximise crowds at the other clubs who have plenty of capacity to sell any other round.

Southern GA is marked as allocation exhausted at CommBank for today's game.

Very few tickets left in Bays 210 - 218, with only upper corner Bay, 219 having more than a few rows on sale.

Unsure how the standing area has been selling, but all other lower bays are 80%+ sold. Assuming Northern GA & the Hill (standing) have been selling ok, we should be on track for 22K+.

The current record had Broncos as an away team, it was a Dolphins home game against them but still. So after today the top 2 drawing rounds of all time will have Broncos as the away team.

It should be a fixture that sells out every year tbh. Stand alone game on a public holiday, Moses back for the eels and Tigers have a point to prove after getting flogged in the media all week. I will say ticket prices don’t help, I paid $90 for 2 tickets behind the goal posts

The Broncos are being arrogant with their ANZAC eve pricing.

$159+ fees a seat (yes, $159+ per person) to sit in level 7 east from the 20-50m line. Other than that, only a few more seats to sell that were held back for new members and then restricted view which should be listed soon.

Corporate sales look amazing. Once those overpriced seats are recategorised they will sellout and potentially draw 44-45k. If not, we're probably looking at 41-42k.
