2025 Crowd Watch

Raiders v Bulldogs might be the highlight of a relatively meh round looking at match ups and early sales indicators.

Of the other games that could draw 20K+, Storm v Wests Tigers is being impacted by being played at 2pm on Mother's Day (historically sees poor member turn out & low sales) and Knights v Titans at 6pm on Friday isn't showing much in new sales.

Cowboys v Panthers is the only other realistic chance of cracking 20K, though is looking more like 17K-18K territory.

For other games, Brookvale will cap out at 17K, Eels v Dolphins is looking like 12-14K, whilst I'm seeing no real signs of life at Accor or WIN.

Hopefully as the week goes on, this changes, but we were due a dip after 3 massive rounds of crowds.

Southern GA is now sold out at GIO Stadium. Pretty much only tickets left in the lower bowl is Northern GA with all other bays sold out or down to single seats.

Looking a round ahead, some promising signs for the Bulldogs first home game at Accor since Good Friday, with the Kennel already sold out. Very few seats exist on the western side.

Knights v Eels, despite being also at 6pm Friday, is ahead of Knights v Titans this Friday. Parramatta has a large following in the Hunter and its showing in the pre-sales.

Phins v Warriors is showing promising signs two weeks out. Warriors away bay down to single seats and some solid sales across silver and bronze bays. Hopefully Dolphins can get a win this Thursday to help promote sales.

Eels have announced their promotions to help move tickets this week:

50% off Gold, Silver and Bronze seats the CommBank Stadium (https://premier.ticketek.com.au/shows/Show.aspx?sh=EEL1025)

20% off Hospitality at Dolphins, Titans and Storm home games (https://shop.parraeels.com.au/pages/hospitality)

40% off 2 Game Flexi-Memberships (https://shop.parraeels.com.au/collections/2025-parradise-day-membership-deals)

Thursday night. 15 k max unfortunately. :(
Not good enough for the Eels but it is what it is. They/We are running last.

My first experience of MR is what I've realised about it is that most people don't stick around for the other games and make a weekend of it or a day out, once their team loses or wins they head to the exit door. And that's the reason why you see so many empty seats everywhere, Like where I was sitting 2 rows below me just disappeared with no one returning. However I made it a 3 day event for myself and it was fabulous. Although Parra had to ruin it by playing crap as usual.

Here is how Canberra is looking:

Black - sold/ 90% sold.
Blue - available, but surely not much left in the remaining GA end

Hopefully the corporates in the Meninga stand show up

If you've coloured that in yourself then thank you, God's work.

Had we a new 30k ground in Civic this would've already sold out. It's a national embarrassment to not have a modern rectangular stadium in Canberra.

Update - they are flying off the shelf. I think the rate that tickets are shifting continues, it could be sold out by Thursday night/ Friday morning.

Surely not many GA seats left. Once they go everyone will be pushed into the bronze terrance corners and they should all go.

I'd count 15K as a win considering the match up and time slot. I unfortunately don't think we'll get that high, but hopefully some people take advantage of the cheaper tickets.
