Took until game day to sell out
Is Sydney sold out yet?
Took until game day to sell out
Definitely, your right in saying that. Not trying to attack Souths, always got a soft spot for the Bunnies. I just don’t know if playing out of SFS full time is the right decision for them, considering how wide spread Souths supporter base is.There's a reason our crowds were shithouse in the 90s/early 00s and it had absolute nothing to do with the venue.
And?Took until game day to sell out
Poor result for Souths, the NRL and NSW taxpayers.Disappointing to read about Souths + Allianz but not entirely unexpected IMO.
Souths’ leadership will now need to stop up cycling the disbenefits of Accor and try and mobilise the faithful again. Good luck with that. Overall a poor approach, poor process and poor outcome on behalf of those that run the club.
Where is a good seat? I've been maybe 50 times and haven't found it.To say there are no good seats at ACCOR Stadium is factually incorrect. The problem is there are too many bad seats at a core stadium for rug purposes.
Game 3 will be sold out and 4 million will watch it.Perth State of Origin crowd 57,023.
A tad disappointing IMO.
Amazing what a great game will do for ratings. The NRL will capitalise on this on the fumblers will hate itI just went to have a look for tickets for Game 3 in Sydney and there's almost 9,000 ahead of me in the queue at 10:30pm on a Wednesday:

Game 3 could be one for the ages.
Perth State of Origin crowd 57,023.
A tad disappointing IMO.
- Second highest sporting attendance in Perth this year behind Socceroos vs Japan (57,226).
- Second highest rugby league attendance in Perth in the 2020s behind 2022 State of Origin (59,358).
- Ninth highest sporting attendance in Perth in the 2020s.
57203 (from Lu) in the middle of a cloud burst disappointing?
