2025 Crowd Watch

Round coming up isn't looking amazing outside of the Warriors & Broncos games. Just looking at some of them:

Wests Tigers v Raiders - Crowds at Campbelltown this year have been 13K, 12K, 11K and this one may continue that trend with a 10K. Outside of members and the Raiders away bay, there are still a lot of tickets available at CSS, hopefully there will be some late sales to push it closer to 12K.

Warriors v Panthers - Sold out, should be around 24K assuming weather is not terrible in Auckland.

Dolphins v Knights - Dolphins tried to fleece the WA locals, and it's back fired with pretty lacklustre sales. Charging $120 for a grandstand seat for this game was never going to be well received in a market where neither the Knights or Phins are that popular (Rabbitohs, Warriors, Broncos may have gotten away with this). Whilst some sales have picked up since they released the 'Bears Ticket' for $27, it might be too little, too late for this one which is looking like around 13-14K.

Rabbitohs v Storm - Trending like the Round 4 clash between the Rabbitohs v Panthers (ie. almost zero pre-sales). Hopefully will get around the 10K mark like that game did.

Roosters v Cowboys - Really sluggish sales, which is disappointing. Trending at the moment for maybe 16K. Hopefully the Sunday afternoon timeslot, decent weather, some freebies given to the services, and a late surge can get it to 20K.

Eels v Titans - Eels have put on a last minute EOFY 50% deal for this one, clearly realising that no one is pre-purchasing. Possibly going to end somewhere in-between 11K-13K.

82,450 seats to go.

Depends if you want to pay for a reserve ticket or a GA ticket or a corporate ticket.
Ive been to plenty of events at Accor and sat in some great seats.,even on the low sections of level 6.
Its not Allianz but actually better than the MCG,which is a trillion miles away with a lesser rake, especially on level 1.

Perth State of Origin crowd 57,023.

A tad disappointing IMO.

- Second highest sporting attendance in Perth this year behind Socceroos vs Japan (57,226).
- Second highest rugby league attendance in Perth in the 2020s behind 2022 State of Origin (59,358).
- Ninth highest sporting attendance in Perth in the 2020s.
Quality troll.

Dolphins aren't going there for fun, they are going there to make money

Surely being better than an AFL ground to watch rugby league is a pretty low level.

I had front row level 6 tickets for grand final last year and didn't rate it. Only thing remotely good is level 4 and even then you're still far away. Granted not AFL ground far away but it's not a good seat.

Roosters have just put bays 201, 207, 208, 221 and 222 on-sale, which is surprising as there are still plenty of Cat 2 seats on sale in the lower bowl. Maybe they're selling through other channels so are confident of a bigger crowd than what Ticketek is showing.

Did you get the level 4 seats when the Saints played the Tigers in the 2010 semi final?

I got them for that game near the 40m line and the seats were fantastic. Only good view I've ever had at that place.

Throw in 35000 for the Broncos game and we might hit 125000 for 7 games. Not a terrible outcome I’d have thought

Don't you usually get a dip this time of year iro Crowds? State of Origin on, Bad Weather seems to peek this time of year and whether folk like it or not, folk will miss even with a bought ticket and stay at home and watch the game on the TV instead in many cases and also the usual suspects having terrible seasons where their Support kinda give up half way through the Season.
