Not many clubs have experienced 3 straight wooden spoons - put in the fact we were on a 4 straight game losing streak and a cold Friday night playing the team coming first. It’s no surprise for the low crowd

tigers need a couple winning years, heck even just 1 and I bet they’ll come crawling back … not to the extent of the doggies but they’ll be back

Also noticed tickets at Campbeltown had a mark up as "Game day Tickets". Tickets I noticed this on jumped from $35 Thursday to $60 Friday. Understand the rationale but that is a huge jump
Yeah I don't see Richo wanting them to hang around Campbeltown much longer if that stadium isn't upgraded. They must lose a bit of money playing there.

The Tigers are using as many as five home grounds this year- Campbelltown, Leichhardt, Commbank, Suncorp (Magic), Allianz. It would be hard to build a connection at Campbelltown. Additionally there is the terrible origin scheduling. It needs a revamp in the next tv deal.

He gave the council an ultimatum. Commit $100mill by the end of this month or they are leaving. Looks like 9 at Commbank and 3 at Leichhardt for a while. Should be all games at CommBank!

Even if you win 1 or 2 the tigers fans come out. They are certainly loyal maybe not Newcastle loyal but up there.

Last year Campbelltown got 3 sell outs because they played higher drawing matches there in good time slots.

This season they are playing shit match ups there in rubbish time slots. Surprise surprise the crowds are low.
The Tigers long term future is definitely at Campbelltown and engaging more with the MacArthur region to get more connection.
In the short term, hopefully the politics can help them get the funding for an upgraded stadium.

Good crowd as always in Auckland.

A Penrith win and potential return to the top eight creates a compelling proposition for a great crowd between Penrith and Canterbury at Commbank Stadium next week, even if it is a Thursday night.

The highest regular season crowd between two non-Parramatta teams at Commbank Stadium is 17,708 for the Panthers vs the Tigers earlier this month. I think that will get smashed next week.

We don’t know the rental cost of Campbelltown though. I expect it to be cheaper than CommBank, Accor, Allianz etc so therefore the breakeven point would be lower.

Club running 13th against an out of town team on a cold Friday night following Origin. Yep let’s move the game to a soul less ground away from the supporter base for the sake of potentially a few hundred more supporters- maybe.
Cold Friday night is the excuse now? It's a winter sport. Don't shackle Wests to a shite venue like Cronulla just so the Sharks don't look as bad. They would get bigger crowds at Homebush and should look to make it their home ground like Canterbury.

Nothing beats a whinging pom sitting on his comfy chair lecturing us about crowds. What a first class wanker. Check your own crowds mate. 5th v 3rd this morning in Pommy land annd empty seats every where. Too cold mate? Or what was the excuse?

Looking forward to countless more examples of hypocrisy over the next few years.
