Click on the NRL Tas State Site and it automatically redirects to NRL Vic.

It's official. You don't exist.
I used to run it mate. On a budget of $20000 per annum. Hard bloody work but a lot of fun. It died out a couple of years after I left. Too much work and too little support. Would have killed off union here and taken over as the sole rugby code for what it’s worth . Held a trial down here between the Storm and Broncos and got a massive crowd in 2012. Have had one trial since and nothing else. We are a rugby league dead spot.

So there's literally nothing, not even a bit of junior RL?

You need Polynesian migration.

We have a lot of touch footy. Nothing else. We have a declining rugby comp and quite a few Pacific Islanders down here playing in it. The NRL won’t invest down here again. Population is too small and opportunities for pathways are too limited. It’s just the way it is. The growth of the game in Victoria and the potential for growth in Perth will keep the NRL busy enough for a while

Different situation. The NT Government pays an NRL club for the arrangement. Parra have been doing it for ten years.

Damn good business not sure what your problem could be.
The Dolphins had a 3 year + option agreement with the NRL & WA Government which saw them play 1 game at Optus and 2 at HBF. Their new deal for Darwin is also with the respective Government and the NRL, so for the Phins the two arrangements are very similar.

My issue is not that these deals exist, I wish more games were taken around the country, especially around Origin time, it's when clubs, like the Dolphins, use it as purely a cash grab, charging the highest price possible, not engaging with the community or investing in marketing.

When clubs make these deals, they accept as part of the agreement that they will be ambassadors of the code and work to make the event as successful as possible.

Phins might not care, but efforts like yesterday do nothing to encourage regions to bid for games moving forward.

This is correct. This game got buried in Origin. Ticket prices were exorbitant and it’s arguable it achieved very little.
Rugby league appears to have gone backwards in the NT this years for those who might care

About 200 seats left to Broncos vs Sharks (sideline level 6&7 corners at $65+ fees). The clubs needs to jump on and open restricted view.

EDIT: 15 minutes later and restricted view categories are up haha

Someone please correct me as I'm probably mis-remembering but AFLtables.com was just the AFL side of RLeague.com's forum and stats page back in the day.
When RLeague was stupidly sold off the only thing left was the AFLtables, I'm unsure who keeps updating it.
I’m not sure. It was suddenly updated in the last week. It’s useful but not entirely accurate.

The details of the new Dolphins deal with the NT Government have not yet been disclosed. But their previous deal with Parramatta is extremely generous.

I doubt the WA Government was quite so forthcoming as their NT counterparts. Therefore, the Dolphins have every right to charge what they feel fit.

What evidence do you have that they did "not engage with the community"? Publicly available information indicates otherwise. Did they not fulfill their obligations under the WA agreement?

That's a pretty loose thing to be accusing the club of doing/not doing.

Relocate the Sharks to Tas or Norfolk Island.

Which option would get the bigger crowds?
What is it with the Pommy hatred of Cronulla?

With the binfire that is Super League one would think English fans would have better things to worry about than a club on the other side of the f**king planet in a country they've never been to and a club they'll likely never go to.
